Wonder if the club have considered sending Kreuz to an optometrist. Since the Collingwood game, I've noticed his ability to perceive the depth on a kick can be quite ordinary. Been a few that have ended up as a half volley as he hasn't read it properly, and a couple others that have gone over his head.

Hendo does the same thing too, but would put that down to being overly cautious of where his man is all the time.

Kreuz is struggling a bit, but you can't question his team play. Always chases and tackles hard.

:screwy:

Not questioning his team play at all. Just reckon he struggles to read the high ball, and wonder if it's an issue with his eye sight, as its been a regular occurance in recent weeks.

Well said.
Who cares what a father of one of our players says while at the football.

I am embarrassed by some of the things I yell out... Heat of the moment stuff.

Cancer of the club... Elliot was a cancer of the club, murphys father is irrelevant. So don't bother posting shite that you heard at the footy

The only thing I would say is ................don't post anything you wouldn't say to his face. Then ask yourself if what you want to post is going to do any good for CFC or Marc. Because even though it really has nothing to do with either, both will be tarnished through the mere association. And don't think anything you post won't get a run in the national media once it is posted here. Be careful.

Has worked for quite a few players over the years, not just with their marking, but their set shots also. Sam Reid a recent example.

Feel free to tell me why you disagree though...

I didn't say you were questioning his team play! I was making a point that he is out of form, but he still does the 1%ers. You could be onto something with the eye sight thing though, he does run too far under a lot of balls. When he does mark it, it's usually direclty above his head not out in front with arms streched.

My bad, might have to get my eyes tested also. Just wondered where the team play aspect came from. I thought he was pretty decent today. Him and Warnock tend to cancel out each others flaws beautifully.

Starting to wonder if Hampson even gets a look in. Not because I don't think Hampson is our #2, but as the MC have avoided this decision at all costs this year, and it may be too late. Would be quite tough on Warnock for them to essentially switch horses this late in the season on what is effectively a 50/50 decision too.

Because.....I can't imagine a scenario where you've thought of it.....but the club or Krooze haven't.

Agree with most posts, a great 2nd quarter but not much to get excited about in the others. Judd is a freak and Scotland continues his great year and surely must get an All Australian spot.
Good to hear about the re-signings of Walker and Simpson (both were pretty quiet today). The standard of umpiring this year is at an all time low.
Good to get through the game with no injuries, although Yarran said his hamstring was tight. Terrible injury to the poor Melbourne player, felt sick when i saw it on the scoreboard.
A win is a win.

Might as well shut the site down now then, applying that logic to all discussions on here could be a dangerous practice..

If anyone could spot eyesight issues with a player it would be Ratten. He couldn't see more than 50m in front of him for most of his career until he got contacts IIRC.

yo rhino, i reckon you should write to the club suggesting that Kruze go sees an optometrist.
After all, you've noticed his ability to perceive the depth on a kick can be quite ordinary, as opposed to Hendo, who's tendency to do the same is more closely linked to him being over cautious of where his man is all the time.

and im definitely not being sarcastic either

It is only the third time Carlton has had 14 goal kickers in its history (the previous two times were when we only had 20 players in the team).

Like your style Rhino.................we got a gaping hole at CHF Rhino.Do you reckon Kruze or Hammer could step up to CHF and allow all three to play ? dont know whether it would work myself but would me more than happy to have a crack as we have no hope in the finals unless we can fix this spot.
