Good to see North out all over the press talking up this game.

You'd think they would have learnt after the Pies game that the talking must be followed by the walking.

6 day break following a major game, playing at Etihad ... Blues by just a few.

We don't have the manpower to cover Petrie. Also ... every time we play this mob Harvey has a blinder. Added to this .. Goldstein is in great form. Also ... the Etihad factor.

We really need to dominate the midfield ... and run the ball into our forward line. If we go into attack like we did against the Bullies ... I will spew up ... I am very nervous but hopeful.

Would have liked to have seen Setanta and Russell back in the side.

I would actually like to see us flood as much as possible. Get as many numbers around the ball as we can and we should be able to conjure up enough goals. We can't leave Hendo one on one with Petrie.

Good luck to both. Brock well and truly deserves his promotion and I hope he smashes it. As for Hoops, he offers us quality finishing to our forwards which is lacking in our team still.
It would be great to see them both in our best.

Pizza, Indian or Thai?

Good to see Davies getting a second run after his strong showing last week.

No Lindsay Thomas, that's 10 from last year they have to find!

As we have in the past with the fevoultion they could be very predictable tonight making it easy to defend again

& last but not least, not sure they have the defenders to cover the road runners up forward!

Blues by 35pts!

What we have to do is show consistency, work hard and control the game.

This should apply each week.

Against the Dogs they lowered their eyes and chipped to 45 and scored heavily that way. They have some tricks that we will have to keep our eye on. Limiting their inside 50's overall will be high on the agenda.

I think we are at the peak of a fitness cycle and should account for them by winning the contested ball and moving it swiftly forward where Garlett Walker Betts Murphy Judd will finish things off. They will struggle with our press too i reckon.

so do I -

Hope he cements his place in the team - and I am really interested how the other midfielders preform with him there last two games he played Juddy and Murph both had blinders

I too hope Brock kills them tonight. I reckon he is feeling the pressure of expectation which is why he has lost confidence.

Go blues!!

You guys will smash Norf tonight - they had their Grand Final 2 weeks ago when they got over the 11th team in a herculean effort.

I'd like to say we'll then do you a favour tomorrow and knock off West Coke but that would be delusion of the highest order - we certainly owe you one after pulling the only good game we've had all year out of our arse against you guys.
