The AFL have just announced that in order to keep this year's count interesting Vlad will not call the votes on Carlton games during for each round. Instead, once the 24 rounds have been read out he will then read out the votes from the Carlton games.

I wouldn't even bother. I'd just read the votes from the other games, and say "thanks for coming, now @#$%&! off" before releasing the Crown Casino security guards to 'escort' them from the premises

In that case, they may as well just do the red carpet/bogan WAG section, not let anyone into Crown (which will save on any unsightly and embarrassing drunken spectacles), then just announce Juddy the winner

I've heard they're bringing in a Stawell Gift approach this year. Juddy will start on minus 6 votes. G Ablett and Marc Murphy start on evens. Everyone else starts on 7. Except for Collingwood players, they will be able to give votes to each other to make up the numbers because apparently they all steal Brownlow votes off each other during the season.

I reckon it would be quicker to start Judd on 66 votes and only read out and take away the games he is not BOG.

Making a late charge for votes? Cox coming hard from behind?

Would be a bit stiff not to get it.
