No he will return via the bullants.

Ratten likes him though and i think it will come down to a choice of either playing White or Thornton as the third tall backman come finals time.

Did not play in the Bullants last week, so doubtful he would come straight back into the ones.

AFL releasing their Rnd 24 draw and having them playing the Sunday twilight game, with all other finals chances on Friday night or Saturday will surely get a run.

Any chance of a Wells vs Yarran matchup? That could be fun...

By rights we should smash this lot, but it's all about how well they are prepared and whether they go into the game thinking they are already there.

Can't wait to wipe that irritating arrogant smirk off Brad Scott's face on AFL Insiders next week. Media Whore.

Thought the same pre Doggies game, too. You can't underestimate the psychological factor as there are teams who have had it over us for years, including this flower. Even our win a few years ago was a battle to the death.

Their midfield runs deep and has talent to burn, we'd want to bring our A game. Hoping Carrots is back, we'll need them all.

Petrie will keep our backs very honest, too, this will be a really tough match.

I agree with Blues Clues. This is going ot be tough. We get over North Melbourne and we can be taken seriously. They give themselves a chance against us everytime and for good reason. As much as we bag other teams, I think North are well-drilled, workmanlike so if things go their way, watch out! I'm not saying we can't win but we have to be on and not think that it's just going to happen. I feel that will be part of the preperation this week. Good luck Blues.

Looks like we dont have to worry about Judd missing. Reports on SEN that Bec has gone into labour. Good luck to them both.

The guy is the ultimate professional. Didn't disrupt recovery or the final pre-game training.

We lost this one last year and our hopes for a Top 4 dived along with it. Kruze back will help, but otherwise our team looked better on paper last year than what's available now. Hopefully sit Robbo on the Oompah and niggle the living shit out of him. Hopefully we can handle Petrie the same way we handled Jonathan Brown. Their height is the one bog worry I think.

CARLTON champion Chris Judd looks clear to play in Friday night's clash with North Melbourne with wife Rebecca Twigley expected to deliver their first child.

Carlton skipper Chris Judd (right) should be clear to play against North Melbourne on Friday

AFL and Melbourne social circles were abuzz early Tuesday that Rebecca is in labour, but she is expected to be induced late on Tuesday or on Wednesday.

Judd is raging favourite to win his third Brownlow medal this year.

He was a standout best-afield in the Blues powerful execution of arch rival Essendon* last Saturday night.

Judd's manager Paul Connors told sportsnewsfirst.com.au that the former model and Channel Seven presenter would be induced within the next 24 hours.

"It will be soon, but Rebecca is not in labour," Connors said
