The HUN brought it up. Who knows.

Absolutely nothing in it, the bloke came back on the field and played out the game.

But Robbo has a poor record and any sort of penalty will see him sit out a game.

Would love to smash North Melbourne. They have it coming.

We aren't going to play Lindsay Thomas into form are we?

The cauliflower has kicked 3.0 & 4.0 in his two games with N Ballarat.

He will probably come back in this week & you know the rest

He kicked his 7 odd on a combination of AJ, Russell and Armfield from memory. We have a pretty different defence this year with Yarran, Duigan, Tuohy and Davies (if he stays) back therem with Army playing more forward / wing this year so far (but a good backup option). The new boys in defence have worked well enough on the small forwards so I'd be backing them in.

Brock and Setanta in for Curnow (needs to find some form in the 2's) and Davies.

Ellard fortunate to keep his place.

Setanta for Davies and then Carrazzo (McLean if fitness an issue) for Curnow seems about right for me.

If McIntosh plays, wonder about the need for a third tall down back though. Hendo to Petrie seems a lock, but think Thornton might be a bit undersized for the resting ruck, and I assume he'd go to Hansen anyway.

Shut down Wells and Harvey, and it goes to pieces. Wonder if Joseph is worth considering for a recall perhaps in place of Carrots or Brock.

If we play like we did Friday it shouldn't matter who gets a gig.

Shouldn't

Brock needs to have at least 1 more chance ... He has been in good form and I reckon its going to happen this Friday. He could not possibly play worse than Curnow at the moment. I am a fan of Curnow but he desperately needs to regain some form before the finals. The same could be said of Ellard.

If Brock is not selected ... then I reckon his papers have been stamped.

I would be happy to see Carrots, Brock and Setanta come in for Curnow, Ellard and Davies ... but I think its unlikely they will make 3 changes.

If he goes for that, i'll be shocked. He made no effort to bump. He was after the ball and protected his body.

I think it was AJ & Steven Browne. Setanta had a shocker against these guys last time round. Hope he comes back in & turns it around...

Judd has struggled against North Melbourne in recent meetings. Greenwood will probably go to him and Bastinac to Murphy.

They are building a solid onball unit now with Swallow-Ziebell-Bastinac-Greenwood-Wells-Harvey along with Goldstein.

Last year our forwards went chasing the footy and we ended up with no one inside 50 while they had 3 defenders just sitting back.

If we focus too much on Petrie then spuds like Edwards/Campbell could do some damage.

This is no easy game.

Contact between Carlton's Mitch Robinson and Essendon*'s Ben Howlett from the first quarter of Saturday's match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that Robinson had his eyes on the ball and had put his hands down towards the ball in a bid to win a contest for possession with player Howlett. Player Howlett gets to the ball first and high contact is made. It was the view of the panel that Robinson did not have a realistic alternative way to contest the ball and no further action was taken.

Scott outcoached ratten terribly last year.
The umps were as influential as they have ever been against us.
we gave away silly frees off the ball inc when we had possession.
Thomas kicked 7.0 or something ridiculous.

This would be our worst loss for the year because there are no excuses.
I think we will win well.

Doubt it, but geesh, if they tried that then that would be a recipe for ending a career...

Oops it may have.

Let's hope Rebecca does the right thing by us (and surely what WE want is at the very front of her mind...) and either gives birth in the next couple of days or hangs on until Saturday.....

 :yikes:

Tightness I believe? He was listed as 50-50 to play last week.
