My friend works in afl marketing and has connections to carlton and apparently we are looking for a permanent slogan
such as the pies have sidebyside ect
the pitch cartlon liked the most was One Club, One Colour
i like it - thoughts ? i can see ppl gettn used to it very quickly

No I believe its a reference to all the champion players we recruited from outside the VFL - rather than from within the VFL - it is also a reference to the recruitment of soldiers going up to the front in battle "to keep our end up."

The line after "ënd up"

Seems to suggest the "champions" will know they've been playing against us.
