Just saw the replay of Judd's goal assist from the goal square to Betts, absolutely brilliant.

Great having power houses like Robinson and Kreuzer hitting the opposition hard and hurting them, if they can do that every week it'll turn a lot of games our way.

Looks like Emma is on to the "brave bandawagon" in descibing Carlisle's mark

Funny night.

The son of some friends was playing Auskick at half time and asked me to go with them.

So I said yes.

And then they gave me an Essendon* membership card and told me to meet them at their seats. :?

I considered "losing" the card but really glad now that I didn't.

About five seats along from where I was sitting there was a bloke weighing about 25 stone sitting with his two young kids who spent the entire first half slagging off pretty much everything. Possibly the biggest dick I've seen/heard at the football and he has a fair bit of competition. Needless to say he had no @#$%&! idea about the rules of the game either.

On the other side was a total freak who looked like he'd got weekend release who'd run down the aisle to the boundary every time Essendon* scored waving his flag and jumping up and down wearing the weirdest "look at me" shit since Joffa's gold jacket.

Anyway...

At half time my friends' kid played a blinder in the little league.

And then the third quarter started.

Fat bogan shuts the @#$%&! up.

Weirdo nuff nuff stops running down the aisle.

Eddie Betts kicks goal of the year.

Andrew Walker takes mark of the year.

And I'm sitting about 30 metres from him in the middle of the Essendon* members...

Just saw Walkers mark on replay for the first time.

It wasn't a dream how high he was off the ground!

the bird mans mark against us in round 22 of 2009 remains the best mark i have seen live but Walkers is a close 2nd. unbelievable mark.

Does anybody have a link to a reasonable quality pic of the Walker mark that doesn't have Getty splashed across it? I want to print it and put it up at work

That sequence of photos is magnificent, might buy and frame those.

Forget Bailey ladders, Carlisle are a much better brand.

Love the way he clamped his head with his knees.

That is frame worthy and will become common place in pool rooms of most Carlton supporters...

I literally went up before Walker as it was that kind of night and I could feel it happening. Wish I had the same feelings with lotto numbers.

pity the scoreboard didn't feature in that snap.
