PRO

-The second half (obviously)
-Eddie!!!! That will build his confidence
-Judd
-Walks' screamer
-Simmo's first half
-Murphy's second half
-Twomey's bone crunchers
-Shutting up Heppel, Melksham and Davey.
-Beating them when they were actually trying
-Potentially ending their season (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

CON
-The first half
-Our shakey defence (particularly first half)
-Lazy marking
-Garlett's wastefulness inside 50 lately (maybe I'm being tough, but he has the potential to be elite)
-Curnow's and Robbo's loose disposals
-Not holding the Scum scoreless for the third quarter

Pro's

The look on the Essendon* supporters faces as they realised thier seson is done (The filth will smash them next week)
The look on Hirdies face as he realised thier season is done (The filth will smash them next week)
The distress in Mongas voice as he relaised thier season is done (The filth will smash them next week
The joy in Wallsy's voice when he realised thier season is done (The filth will smash them next week)

Cons

The fact that the Filth will smash them next week. We only get a week of gloating before the Ferals get a go.

Pros
- Good midfield spread through Judd, Robinson, Murphy, Gibbs
- Quartermain asked Lloyd about Davey's inability to have an impact. Davey is the worst player in the competition and I'm surprised he is still on a list. I'm also surprised by how many Bombers' fans include him on their list of young players, without recognising he is the older brother (and a dud)
- Kreuzer taking 3 big contested marks and converting. Our forward structure demands someone who can take a mark, even if its only one or two a match, to ensure they dont just block against our fast half forwards
- Walker, Betts
- Happy to see Armfields game. his second goal was a ripper.

Cons
- We were split for space in the middle and didnt cover their forward movements well. On a number of occasions we were caught one on one and in 50/50's but with them dictating the tempo - good teams will kill us on this basis.
- Curnow's last month has been pretty poor
- Jeffy G, calm down when you have the ball. No need to panic - you can outrun most of those morons.

Pros

Essendon*'s bravery
Judd
Murphy's second half
Walker's mark
Eddie Betts' game
Armfield having a good game
Henderson running the ball out of defence
Still got Jamison, Waite, Carrazzo, Russell and Bower to come back.
Some big grabs from Kreuzer

Cons

Curnow still not in form
Need more defenders helping out with spoiling as third man up.

Probably because he still plays like a first gamer.
Glad someone has now asked the question about this fraud

Yarran's goal was my favourite of the night..

Henderson's lead up work for that was absolutely brilliant..Not the first time he has showed great evasive skills..I think we have found our CHB when Jamo comes back.. Have always thought he was a better defender after he beat Buddy in Tasmania playing for Brisbane

- Very happy to see a great return to form by Armfirle

The poor battlers on Bomberblitz are still convinced they will come 8th.
I think I tend to agree with BlueMark on this one though.

You don't want to see fair players like Pears injured, but Kreuzer cleaning him up by charging at the ball was beautiful and fair.

The big fella is a machine.

Pros

Judd
Murphy
Gibbs
Kruezer
Straight kicking

Cons
Scotland - Mostly off target, ball loops taking players out of position, disguised by size of victory
Thornton - In ability to read the play and know when to mark or punch
Tall Backs - 1st half no one put body on the line. Allowing Ryder to lead up and mark, someone should have got in front of him.
Warnock - Generally soft, kicks from centre, were bombs, inability to sum up the situation.
Twomey, Davies & Toughy - No thanks, look far better in red
Duigan - 1st half couldn't read it, needs to find touch early
Curnow - Maybe time to give McLean another chance.

I am a tough marker, I have a preference to see Watson, Lucas and McLean given more of a chance. Hopefully match committee will mark us hard. Dons were rubbish more than us being good.

We need to really concentrate on defensive skills to shut our North next week. Also the Henderson experiment needs to end. Betts cant kick 8 every week. Henderson, looked best when attacking and carrying the ball, thats what Centre Half Forwards do.

Pros:

Appropriately disposed of a rubbish side....

Cons:

The constant mention of Bower as being one of our missing 22....
