A mate sent me a text saying Duigan may miss. No idea how accurate this is.

He did the pre game promotion, why would Carlton put him up to do that when he is going to miss?

It doesnt add up and he will play.

This game starts here at 0400. That's 4:00 a.m.
This is my routine for 'night games'.
I go to bed at 9:00 p.m. toss and turn for an hour or more because I'm not tired enough to sleep, get up at 3:00 a.m., listen to the pre-match radio on live stream, check out Jimmae's PM and load up the video stream. By the time the game starts, I'm ready to go with a coffee and a bowl of coco pops.
It ends at 6:45, an hour or so before people in the house are stirring. If we lose, I don't even think of trying to go back to bed and sleep because I am usually stressed out. If we win, I usually listen to the after match radio stream and read and comment on TC.
Tonight, my wife's uncle is having a sleep over and will join me in the lounge where I will have the projector connected to the laptop. Two metre by one metre screen and the volume just low enough so as not to wake the family.
No coco pops tonight, though. It'll be beer (not that Corona crap btw) and typical aussie footy snacks. (chicharron, totopos and takis). He liked the Collingwood game enough to come back this week. It's nice to watch the footy with someone. Even someone who isn't Carlton mad.
Yet.

Thank god Singapore is in a reasonably close time zone to the matches...

Likewise in Beijing - only two hours so the game starts early here and time to celebrate afterwards! The live streaming is a godsend as when we arrived here 11 years ago there was nothing. I had to set up an email contact at home who would send me regular updates. Love the routine BS, bit different to the lounge in Sandy Bay!
Go Blues!

There's rumours on Bomber Blitz and Essendon*'s BigFooty board that Fletcher, Howlett and Hurley could all be out.

Robbo just mentioned this as well on SEN(not Howlett though).

This has an upset written all over it! It reminds me of when we beat them on a Sat night without our top 3 or 4 stars. I can't remember the year but Fev played really well as did Culpitt!

Be ruthless Carlton, no matter who plays.

Yeah I heard that as well. With all this turmoil the bombers will be brave just by showing up. Where do they find the courage?

Don't care who is in or out for either side.

We simply must win. Not negotiable.

I'm not sure why - maybe I was inspired by Glenn Manton but of all teams to beat - Essendon* is the one I would want.
I remember going to the 99 prelim and the station announcer saying as we left the train at Richmond. "MCG , depart here for the MCG...and Carlton fans - we'll see you back here at quarter time"
(or something like that.)

Ins and outs shouldn't matter - if we are serious we just have to beat them. By a lot.

Would Myers be the most likely replacement if Fletcher doesn't come up?

The inclusion of Carlisle almost makes it a no brainer.

They look far too tall and slow down back with Fletcher, Carlisle, Hurley and Pears in the 22.

A few Essendon* supporters are claiming that Judd will play well purely because Hocking will miss.

Henderson v Hurley could be a good match up for the Blues.

Hendo has been a match for Hurley in the past with his legspeed and mobility.
