This one?

From the Blueseum

I don't think so. I seem to recall the filth being up by about 4 goals around 3 qtr time/start of the fourth. Ill never forget the commentator (i think it was huddo) pretty much yell HERE COME THE BLUES as we kicked 2 in a row

And people are making his return to footy somewhat of a fairytale?

Ratts needs to get this man in to give the pre game speech. I have a feeling tomorrow will be a huge day for this football club, in the years ahead I think we will look back to this game as one that defined us.

The worrying thing is that he is educated. The ill-educated among us, spell it 'assholes' because they don't know any better.

Well, educated for a feral filth supporter anyway..
You've go to give him a break though, apart from picking up blobs of chewing gum off the footpath, the filthbags are probably all he's got to live for

My 10 point plan.

1. Run the ball into the forward line.
2. Trap the ball in the forward line.
3. Win the midfield battle.
4. The whole team has to be desperate ... tackling etc (see Mitch Robinson).
5. Be agressive and run hard.
6. Tag Thomas and Pendelbury.
7. Play on at all times.
8. Double team on Cloke.
9. Keep focused.
10. Never give up ... Never surrender.

Top plan BlueRob.

Point 1 was something we struggled with last week. Kicked into 50 from too far back. Shallow entries i think Ratts calls them. They just picked those entries off and we didnt have numbers there to keep it in if they didnt mark it. Need to carry it further down the ground and then kick to space over the back this week. Run onto with pace or lock it up for a stoppage so the press can get set up. Dont let them mark our entries. Kick it along the ground if we have too.

Point 11. Kick the ball out of their press. Do not attempt to handpass it through. Out of bounds on the wing is a win.

Wayde actually had a team role to play for half a game and sacrificed much of his game to play that role. Coaches were very happy with his game. Curnow needed the run and will be better for it. The kid runs marathons...he'll be fine. Tuohy will get another chance...early doors with him.

You gotta look for the little things, the instinctual things that separates the wheat from the chaff. You may see a player get a million touches but those touches might be nothing special and just run of the mill. Then you might see a kid who only gets 3 touches but they are like specs of gold in a pan full of mud.

Are you thinking of the Justin Davies games where he bobbed up in the last and kick a couple?

i've got a really dumb question here. How do teams at the start of the game work out their match ups?

Someone here said "Gibbs to go to Shaw".

So what if Ratts says, ok Bryce, you take on Shaw. BUt what happens if Malthouse wants Shaw to take on Judd?

Or another hypothetical, Ratts wants Judd to play on Pendlebury but Malthouse has told Pendlebury to play on Murphy?

How do they work it out?

Sorry for the dumb question, i've never really played (except once on the MCG for the little leagues).

Dont look like Bryce is going to have to worry about Shaw

Shaw could be watching with us in the stands, he's just about to be suspended by the AFL

WOW, could be a long one.

How stupid would you have to be to bet on your own team using inside knowledge?

Don't answer that, it was a rhetorical question.
