I just heard Ratten say that Ohalipin will play football next week. With the Bullants having the bye this is code for Ohalipin to come straight back into the senior lineup.

Not a bad code.

I think that was just an oversight by him. He just made a verbal dot-point about it and moved on.

Right now, we have the following players available for senior selection, with the rest either being unable to be elevated, unfit, injured or having been rested from the VFL this weekend:

Lucas
Davies
Watson
Kerr
Armfield
Carrazzo (unsure on this)
Tuohy
Austin

Sorry I stand corrected, a rookie could be elevated for McInnes, but based on my own viewing and match reports the only eligible candidate would be Mitch Carter. From that list, I'm going with:

Out: Waite (inj), Ellard, Joseph, Russell (inj)
In: Austin, Armfield, Carrazzo, Tuohy

Carrazzo had a calf niggle, so if he's not right then bring in Lucas.

Does this mean there will be more beers?
I missed out last time ...

If we bring O'hAilpin in next week then we deserve to get what will be coming.
Henderson needs to move forward. Kruezer is a concern in the F50. Hope Waite is OK.
Bower must play back on Travis with 3rd man up. T-Bird needs to play fb and do the job until Jamison is ready.
We need another in & under in the middle. The person we have missed the most is Curnow but did he do enough in the VFL???? McLean is now injured as well. This is one real concern currently.

As I said in another thread, maybe we just rest 8-10 players, cop a flogging and move on.

Cleaning the grout in the shower looks appealing next Saturday afternoon.

Worked for Freo in Rd 21 last year and everyone agreed it was "good list management".

General population wouldn't be able to handle it if we did it though.

I told a mate during the 3rd qtr today that we should just tank the filth game and rest half the team...

...then I hear Thornton may play forward.

Everyone would complain about us, would overshadow the Carbon tax even. Cheating/tanking Carlton at it again. Even more reason to do it.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we come out and play our best game for the season next week.

We're coming off a devastating loss and the Filth winning by 117 points just sets it up even more. The best thing about it is that the Filth won't worry trying to shut us down, they will just do their own thing. These are the situations we are best in because we can play like the hunter and not the hunted. The Bulldogs did their homework and it paid off big time.

I am going to the game regardless next weekend, so I really don't give a flower if I am being delusional.

Play like we did today, we'll lose by 150 points. Seriously.

I'm expecting this to be very, very ugly.

Nah - I watch movies, played GTA IV, and I know social workers, economists who study policies regarding correctional facilities, etc.

For the first 16 weeks I felt like I was living in Bizarro world what with Carlton winning and and all the fun and frivolity on TC.

I must say it is refreshing to come back and feel like I am at home again.

Talk of tanking and Thornton the nemesis, all is well.

Well, if Beaumont can kick 8 in a half...

Just hope Robbie Warnock doesn't get in his ear at half time about the record being 18

Frig you Matthew Allan!
