If it wasn't for those lucky free goals (x2) we'd be a few goals behind - which is pretty reflective of how we're playing at the moment

now know why Bowser is in - waite obviously went into the game injured - selection ?

poor selection. not sure anyone wanted to believe waite was injured.

we gave the ball away too much on our forward entries. went in from too far out and with no numbers around the target to get the press set up.

we need to slow it up a bit. get it in deep. bring it to the deck and get the forward pressure up.

we have probably used up our luck so are going to have to grind this one out.

doesnt look good.

With Waite gone for the match I now expect us to struggle. Carlton’s small men feed off the spilled ball. Now with no one to spill it we will get sucked in to bombing it in and they will clear it easily.

Is it just me or has our mega forward pressure seem to have disappeared? I have seen no example of it this match.

missing jamo massively

with jamo and waite out top 4 is looking shaky

Expect the old "Injuries aren't an excuse" line to then be trawled out if that were to happen.

Cos now that Waite is off - why? - Walker is the one being held!

Such a frustrating game to watch. We are capable of much better!

At the ground it looks like we have stopped.

What is wrong with Waite?

we won last week yeah?

Pretty sure, but the Bullants probably would have too. We wont beat Collingood and I have no faith that we'll beat the Bombres the next week either.

Let them back in. Could of had a handy lead at the half.

They're now harder, faster and with more intensity at the moment.

Signs aren't good. Hopefully we can steady.

Drop this and we can kiss top 4 goodbye imho.

We are in serious trouble ... especially without Waite.

WE are really missing Curnow!

Worst tackling effort of the year so far. A lot of arms being thrown out which the dogs are breezing through at will.

Need a big lift.

I am, but your faith in him is a pretty rare statement on this site.

Hope you're right!

Thornton to FF.
Bower to the backline
Can't afford to rest the ruck on the bench now.
Russell to HBF
Gibbs to midfield now Murphy has been nullified.

Ratts will blister the paint. Tackling has been down.
Missing Waite this half won't make a difference because he did nothing in the first. I hope he will be OK for next week but doesn't look good.

Our forward line is in trouble

Small forwards can barely get to it, 1AW can't touch the ball and we're left with a defender (Bower) and a Ruckman coming back from a knee reco!

True, but Walker is generally a lot less effective when there isn't a quality tall like Waite to draw the attention away from him.

Walker needs to lift and find a way into this game if we're going to kick a winning score
