We have shown in the last 3 games how we can progress or not in this years finals.
Play like the 3rd quarter against the Swans and the world is our oyster.
Play like we did against the Eagles and the finals will be over very soon and we will all be sad.
Play like we did against the Tigers, then we could just get to a Preliminary final.
Now it is up to the coaches to get inside the heads of the leaders of this club to show the version played against the Swans.

Now don't get me wrong, I love the Blues more than life itself, and I've been waiting since 95 to experience that ultimate feeling once again. We have made major improvements this year, and it's great to see us sitting 3rd. But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. We have beaten 1 team in the 8! And that team is 7th! We have a pretty tough run home, and I'd like to think we will win at least 5 of those games, which should secure a top four spot. It won't be easy, but I think these boys may just have it in them. If we can snag top 4, maybe then we can start to dream. Until then, let's just take it 1 week at a time.

We will beat the filth on Saturday and suddenly the run home doesnt look that tough at all.

We dropped the game against West Coast but we can make that up by defeating the filth.

We could possibly miss top 4 with a record number of points.....and if so will pay the price for dropping most of our points against other top 4 teams (i.e. '8 point' games)

Bit hard to win when we haven't played 2 of them

I guess that is why they are the top 4 teams and what we are aspiring to be.

We have played 5 and only 1 team beaten. It's not a great record. We have taken big steps this year and we have the game to beat top 4 sides but we need to actually start doing it. The failure against West Coast really hurt.
I have a good feeling about next week though.

+1. And how different that record would be if 206 hadn't been semi-concious when taking that kick ??

The "failure" against WC was caused by 1/3 of our top 22 out inc Jamo during the game, and Judd suffering flu. Can't wait until we play them next time

youre right, we need a big scalp. however unlike seasons gone by i dont think we can sit here and say were not the real deal. were literally inches away from sitting 2nd on 12 wins and 2 losses. we lost to collingwood after falling asleep for 20 min and i think the eagles just got us at the right time.

Sooo many "mini finals" for us in the run home, thanks to the flowering WC. The first one is tommorrow.

Just done the ladder predicter, and have us finishing 4th, but that is if we beat the Hawks (which we rarely do). WC can afford to lose one that they would be fav to win, and we still need to beat Hawks to make top 4. Make no mistake, WC are certainties for top 4

West Coast will lose to St Kilda, Western Bulldogs, Melbourne & Fremantle before the season is completed.

Yeah, I look at the lotto numbers and just know I would have picked them if I'd bothered to enter.

It's just too hard to read the form of the Saints, Swans, and Bombers.

Right now I'd say we are a long shot for top 4, and even money between 5th or 6th

Hundred point losses too. Then we will get Malthouse and lose every game in 2012 by 99pts.
