Geez Touhy is stiff but that's the mark of good sides with depth that we can drop a player who was going well.
A fit and in form PB is in our best 22.
Maybe the MC are looking ahead to the Pies and Bombers.

FWIW I reckon we will account for the dogs easily im tipping 40+ with Jeffy G to bag 6 !!!

Yes he is stiff but plenty of time for Zach and he now has the taste of the big time. Freshen him up again for the season end.

I doubt Zach is getting dropped due to his performance. More to do with fatigue both mental and physical. He will get the week off and then sink his teeth into the rest of the season refreshed and pumped that he got through the first minor step of his career successfully.

Yeah, I think they have one eye on the Collingwood fixture with Bower being included in the team, good ins but as people have said, Tuohy unlucky coz he hasn't been bad

Don't see the case for it from a tactical perspective, or Houlihan for that matter. Ellard would be my pick, but they'd probably favour his ability to run out games.

So yeah, it's probably going to be Bower or Houlihan, with a panic sub when the underdeveloped plan results in a pyrrhic victory. I don't think we'll play badly, but we make it hard for ourselves a lot of the time and part of the reason for that is silly tactical decisions with the sub.

Thought they'd line up line this. Hope Bowser goes well and finally gets people on side.

Would have to do more then perform well against the bulldogs to convince me.

That's the problem from my perspective, people talk about him based on 3-4 good performances, which isn't enough. I'll be very nervous if he runs out in the starting team on Sunday.

Bower's yet to convince me......by a long way; but if he does do well; I'll be the first to congratulate him.

The Bulldogs made just one change, replacing Ed Barlow (hand) with Josh Hill.

Eagles will be top 4 by seasons end at the expense of either Hawthorn or Us...

Winning this week has now become super imperative.

'Angry letter to club' not happy, or 'Tuohy was robbed' not happy?

No doubt Touhy has been fairly solid since he debuted, but I think his output has been a tad low and it is probably a good time for him to go back to the Ants and refine and improve what he has learnt in this seniors and wait for his recall (which probably wont be too far away)

Glad to see Emu back!

There's an echo in here somewhere.

..i'm thinking purely from a match fitness perspective to be honest.. ..wasn't strictly thinking match-ups or tactical ploys with the sub.. ..i agree that it's silly at times to play funny buggers with sub tactics..
