The AFL wishes to advise that tickets to the round 17 match between Carlton and Collingwood, to be played at the MCG on Saturday July 16, are selling extremely strongly on a demand basis.

Less than 7,000 reserved seats remain on sale in the public section of the ground and only 1,000 reserved seats remain available to AFL members.

All fans are encouraged to buy a ticket in advance of the game to avoid disappointment.

Anything is possible but I'd expect us to get done by 4-6 goals, but learn enough to give them a big scare in sept, should we play them.

I don't think we should get too far ahead of ourselves, I would of thought, yeah nah, to be honest.

But, having said that, I think we of a chance.

It's a make or break game, AND it's an 8 point games, so I reckon the boys come to play and they give it a shake.

As long as we are "Up and about", provided we "Come to play" and "Structure up" well, we are in with a shot for sure.

We matched them for most of the game last time - we lost it in 15 minutes in the second quarter when we seemed to panic and try to bomb it out of defence. The real challenge will be concentration - if we can stick at it for 100 minutes we are a chance. If we drop our guard for 5 minutes that might be three goals which will make all the difference at the end, so it should be a pretty good guide as to where we are at heading towards the finals.

I dont think missing Jamo is an excuse - Dawes out cancels that out - we still need a KPD to stand up on Cloke. My guess is Hendo gets first crack, but if Cloke keeps dominating one on ones maybe we concede that and put a more athletic player on him to run off him and who has support from the likes of Duigan and Laidler to cut off the gaps for Cloke to lead into.

But lets focus on the doggies first - they have a lot to play for if you look at where they are sitting on the ladder and the loss to the Weagles makes this a pretty important game for us.

I think we've grown a lot as a team since earlier in the season - even comparing our earlier wins against Sydney and Richmond with the recent ones show the improvement. I'd like to think that improvement will also be shown versus the Filth, however they're improving also. It's gonna be close and if we play the way we did for most of the Brisbane game, Richmond last week and display that mental toughness we've been repping since Sydney in the mud, we're in with a chance. We need to match their press, our midfield need to give 110% and the boys will have to kick straight and maximise all opportunities to keep with them. If we can hang about for the first half and pounce in the 3rd when they run out of steam, we may be able to hold them out in the final quarter when they usually surge back again.

That said, it is a bit premature to be discussing chances. What if Cloke goes down this week? Our chances jump up immeasurably. If something in the reverse happens (I don't even wanna comment on anything) then our chances may drop (see Jamo as prime example).

Dawes out is a big win however they're a team who won't miss him too badly - fill the tall role and stick to the gameplan.

Right now like most people, after dropping the WC game I'm content to tackle one game at a time with the personnel we have and go from there.
