All you're doing is proving what I've pointed out, what SoC has pointed out, what dane has pointed out, that its all about you, you're utterly obsessed with proving yourself ahead of other posters as the best Carlton supporter, the fairest Carlton supporter, the most intelligent Carlton supporter, the most supportive Carlton supporter, and clearly have no qualms coming off as a massive hypocrite in doing so.

Your post on Grigg wasn't far off the one I took umbrage to when you had a go at Brock McLean earlier this year.

All I've done is defended myself from personal attacks and putting the focus back on the game and the team.
It has nothing to do with being the best of anything. They're your words....colourful to say the least.
All our opinions are in fact are small components which make up the content required to make a site like this all the richer.
I try to add value.

Your post for instance we discussed off line....it didn't have anything to do with Brock, it was an accusation about my belittling of Carlton players in general, and I asked you which players I had attacked and asked whether you may have mistaken me with someone else. As I suggested it seemed you were on auo reflex and attacking the poster. There was no attack on any player at the time. Remember, you were going to get back to me on that, so I know where I went wrong, or if you were wrong. Remember...it was out of mutual "respect".

Dane's response was rightly hanging shit on me about the length of my Essay, not my attack on my view on players. Fair enough too.

SOC says that my attack on Grigg was disgusting. There was nothing disgusting about what I had to say about Grigg. That was a personal attack about the way I put my point across. Did you find my post on Grigg disgusting? If you did then you're in agreeance with SOC, if you didn't then why have a go at me again?

Look, I try to support my team any way I can. I like to spend my money on my club. I know I am a good and loyal Carlton supporter, like most supporters of any team are.
I try and be articulate and balanced with my point of view. I don't want to offend but I don't want to be attacked or bullied either.
I'm here for a good time.

I appreciate that you may be friends with SOC back at the club and you're sticking up for a mate, but if you and SOC are trying to tell me that I am no value here, or to the club, and I should stop posting on TC, then that's fine, but just say it, and don't just bully me off this site.

As I said, I'm not here to offend, or make enemies. I'm here for Carlton and want to see the team grow and grow.
Just say the word Rhino, and SOC, and this will be my last post on TC.
I don't want to be posting on TC just to be your personal sitting duck and not wanting me to defend myself.

I'm just so excited that we gave those Tigger boys along with Grigg a whipping yesterday.
Every game against the Tiggers takes me back to that awful GF day in 1973. I can't forgive them for it.

Go Blues and I hope you have a grin from to ear to ear when your team wins the flag this year. I still reckon they can.

Loved Hendo's game yesterday. Sure Jack got 4, but at least 2 of those no-one would've stopped. Maybe SOS.

I reckon even if he doesn't stay there, a good stint down back could be the making of him. He looked confident, aggressive and really in the game playing a tole on the opps key forward. And with krooz resting up forward, I reckon we can afford to use him down back: even when jamo's back, he gives us coverage against teams with more than one quality big man.

Keep Waite, Jamo, Kruze and Hendo in form and we're good enough to win the flag. It's no coincidence that with 2 of them gone, we struggled against WC.

ps - grigg was smart. There's no way he'd be getting a game in this team this year. But the way he went about it was decidedly ordinary, and I think it says a bit about him. Hamill hurt because he was good. This bloke... Pfft, I just put him down as a bad pick (from a very good reccuiting team... You can't win em all) and move on.

Tuohy probably will go out I'd say. Not because he has done anything wrong, but because if Duigan is ready he is clearly the superior option. However Bulldogs don't have the tallest forward line (iifc?) so Duigan in for White and persisting with Hendo back may be the best option.

Guys this is just silly all round. SOC was quite clearly in a bad mood and every one else involved is now irritable because of it. Enjoy your Sunday, and come back next week with a fresher perspective. Let's not get carried away in melodrama, which seems to be on display in all its forms over the last few pages.

Reading some comments from Tigers supporters, they're starting to question his character and commitment already (even though veiled by some as "The Carlton still in him" ).

I'm more than happy to rub his face in it this week, and if any of the players had ill will towards him I hope they let it out yesterday. It's not so much that he left them, it's the way he did it. It showed a lack of respect.

Incidentally, some people still wonder why we hold Jacobs in such high regard. It's bloody obvious why.

The WC and Richmond games proved one thing. Although our depth has improved, two or three key players in or out of makes a crucial difference. Once again, injuries may prove to be the most important factor coming into September, for us and everyone else.s An obvious point but worth emphasizing

How vital is Waite? Having a big mobile marking target up forward this week contrasts completely with having no marking target at all against WC. Waite vs Henderson at CHF, obviously no contest. Henderson is forced to work harder down back, and this looks like it could work.

And Robbo. Its a pleasure to watch him, just brings a grin to my face every time, not just for his hardness and skill but his infectious energy. I just hope the mad c>>t doesnt kill himself before we hoist the cup.

Great bounce back boys. A truly pleasurable and relaxed Saturday afternoon in the MCG sunshine.

You can see what happened yesterday. With Waite and Laidler in and Henderson to FB where he could enjoy his footy more than worrying about being a tall target up forward, it straightened us up.

I still believe we cannot win a premiership with Andrew Carrazzo in the team. He is by far the worst player out there in Navy Blue. Thornton had a couple of shockers and when he marks in defence he walks back as slowly as if he's lining up for goal.

I have no problems an ex Carlton player going to another club for more opportunities. I didn't care when Fevola went to Brisbane. I didn't boo him when we next played against him. But Grigg can get stuffed.

Sitting in an Istanbul internet cafe rejoicing in another great victory! Spent yesterday at Gallipoli and that certainly puts a few things in perspective. Bravery and sacrifice take on a whole new meaning when you walk around the various sites and walk in the water at ANZAC Cove.Go Blues!

How many points did we get for yesterday's game?

We lost 8 points last week. I think we may have got them all back this week. If we had lost we would have been still two points in front of West Coast, but we are now six points in front of them, thus 2 + 6 = 8.

Yay!

The camera panned over to her while she was waiting for Ratts to finish the interview.

Ratts said they were going to lunch and then the C/wood game this arvo.
