What a good way to spend a lovely sunny Winters afternoon. From the first bounce you knew that they were really switched on today. Robbo is such an important part of our team. Judd was brilliant again, loved his 60 metre goal. What a great game by Waite, his marking was outstanding, pity he didnt hold that one in the 3rd quarter.
Terrific team effort lets hope they take it into next week

sat 3 seats away from the great man at today's game, he had the 3 boys with him, and the dashing Mrs too.
Jack Silvagni, his eldest son, think he's about 14 or 15, is already probably 5ft 11, and guess what?? he WALKS PIDGEON TOED AND HAS BOW LEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all 3 boys seem very keen supporters, and i couldnt help but think all 3 will play, Sos seemed to be loving the day.
Diesel was also there a few rows behind, didnt exactly see the two of them chatting much.
And then Parkin was one row back from them!

the way I see it that would make it 21 out of our best possible 22 on the park!

(Hammer debatable, Jamo a given)

In injury news, Carlton defender Simon White is likely to miss next week's clash against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium next Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury.

Despite finishing the match on the bench, the news is brighter for Waite, with Ratten admitting he took a precautionary approach in his return from a three-week lay-off with a hamstring injury.

Waite was being interviewed on Before the Game and didn't mention anything about a groin. Said he was just rotated off.

Forget Judd

No Robbo, no Carlton!

Hendo did good overall on sooky Jack. Waite a very strong second half. Bette was good.

Guess Bower comes in for White next week?

What an enjoyable day. Sunny at the G, great seats and smashing Richmond.

Just walked slowly to the car with a big smile on my face listening to the tiger supporters bitching amongst themeselves.

Judd, Murphy, Robbo, Waite, Gibbs awesome.

Next week try and fit Duigan and Curnow into that well balanced side??

Only question for me is why did White play? I am a White fan but played last week in Bullants after long break and was okay at best. Looked off the pace today and eventually re injured himself and will now miss more time. Surely playing Austin or OKeefe would of been a better option?

Changes for next week.

Out White (inj) Houlihan (after two weeks as sub needs a full game)
In: Duigan Curnow

Big opportunity for these two plus Bower to put their hand up tomorrow vs Williamstown. I wouldn't have thought the Doggies defense would worry us at the moment.

Barlow and Markovic are unlikely to put any fear into our MC or our forward Coach. Beat them in the middle and press hard and we should have the talent to get the job done. Hudson will struggle against the big boys. Close down Gia and Cooney (easier said than done I know) and they will struggle to kick a winning score.

When the Dee's are bad they are really bad and apply zero pressure.

Go Blues.

One of the best things in a Carlton life is sitting in the outer Southern Stand and seeing Richmond's pants pulled down.
Where was the messiah Martin? Nowhere. Richmond bar Cotchin are a bunch of spuds. When muppets like Figjam Grigg and Houli get a game you know your club are rubbish. It's like the days when Pagan recruited a bunch of duds to pull on the Navy Blue. Andrew Carrazzo was Richmond's best player today.

Judd absolutely elite, and after the shite game from Warnock last week it was good to see him do what he did today. Gibbs also had a stand out game and was by far the best number 4 out there today. Winners across the board. When was the last time we had 13 goal kickers. Commiserations to Scotland, Yarran, Warnock, Touhy, Laidler, Kreuzer, Henderson, White and Houlihan for not getting on the goal tally.

Much tougher game coming up next week but it's good to bury last week's result and make back the percentage lost... and then some!

Great to see a great of the club at a game supporting the team...... just so long as he keeps his grubby GWS mitts off our players.

Knockers wasn't up against much today BUT he should have dominated and he did. Will be a good confidence booster for him.

Terrific win. Highlights the progress we are making compared the Tigers.

With Simon White I think we make the mistake of bringing him back too early. We have done this a few times and coming back when you are not right will put back his progress. He really needs to string up some continuos games.

Some terrific tapwork today as well.

Just a true indication of where the two teams are at. We are a genuine contender, and the Tiges are a long long way away from that

Robbo, Waite, Judd, Murph, Gibbs, Eduardo, Knockers, T-Bird all very good. T-Bird has the look of a bloke who was there through the crap years and now knows we are on the verge of something special - he will not give up his spot, and thoughly deserves to stay in the side.

I'd say that side was only Jamo, Duigan, Curnow and maybe Hammer away from our best. White goes though injury for Duigan, and when Curnow comes back Hoops can go, but who makes way for Jamo ? The tussle between Hammer and Knockers will be interesting. Knockers was really good today, but Hammer was flying before doing the knee. Great problems to have ??

Bring on the Dogs next week.

I love the post above...had to edit a bit...but it's on the right track imo.

TBird is playing out of his skin...good luck to Bower, Austin, Davies and White if they hope to take TBirds spot.

Great win by the Blues
Good to see Ratten play Nenderson at full back. Thought he did well

Intensity was better
Judd great today. Still reckon we need to rest him at some stage
Ellard better
Robinson is a gun. Just love him and his zest for the contest is great for the team

Richmond were terrible today
Will be a lot harder next week

I love 100 point wins against the Tiggers!!!!!!!! Should be more of them.

Wow. Is that necessary? Take a good hard look at yourself.

You have bagged Carlton players like every other person here. Do not put yourself on a high horse because like the rest of us you do not deserve it.

Sorry about that SOC if that upsets you. I am not bagging Carlton players so get your facts right before becoming the aggressor.

I watched the game today with an ex carlton player and we both agreed that if they haven't played in a premiership for us (like ex Carltonians McConville, Jezza, Sheldon, Marcou...you get it) or haven't served us with dignity...and want to leave us well @#$%&! em.

Grigg told the club he was signing before he went on hoilidays to Bali or Thailand..., then went on holidays and then his manager shafted usteelling the club he had a desire to leave the club because Richmond was better....and he had made that decision before the bullshit. Just like your bullshit post, ther was no substance to his comment either.

Well @#$%&! him....and I don't care if he's your relative.

And as far as I'm concerend, I express the feelings of many Carlton fans, and there's no issue of me bagging Carlton players, so stop making up bullshit stories about me bagging Carlton players... I'm bagging an ex Carlton player who did nothing for our club other than not wanting to be here....so where's your spirit in your attack of me and my obvious position?

Oh yeah, if you are related to Griigg, I understand where you sit....and say hi to your brother if that's the case....not from me though.

If you don't get it....I respect Campo despite him leaving....he helped us win a flag. Your mate Grigg, the turncoat has done nothing for my club other than bring bad publicity to my club. You should be appreciative of my position...if you understand where I and many like me are coming from.

So why stick up for him?

And please get off my case for not liking anything he has done for my club and for being so Carlton centric with my ideals....AFAIC his actions are not and were not in the 'Spirit of Carlton' ....so I repeat @#$%&! him..and I don't give a hoot about him as a Richmond player...he's Balme's mate AFAIC.

Most important...get off my case, and get your facts right.
