So I read an article on the HS website that mentioned Hardwick was going to expose us with talls without Jamo in the team. Winding back to Round 1, Jamo didn't play. Looking at the teams, Post, Vickery and Griffiths in one forward line ain't that scary.

Height wont be an issue if we are on our game. Should work in our favour.
I know i said that last week but we were not on our game last week. It was also a still day at Etihad. Conditions wont be so mark freindly at the G. We will run over them.

So White misses 6 weeks with injury, has one game back in the VFL were he's out of puff in the first quarter, and he's a better option that Austin this week. Bizarro world.

The ins generally look good, but I wouldn't have brought in White for Austin. White struggled on Riewoldt in round 1 (though did battle manfully). Austin wasn't too bad last week, surely you give him another week to prove himself? Anyway, let's hope we smash the Tigers.

IIRC, we were dominating in Rd 1 until Ratts made some bizarre changes after 1/2 time, taking White off Jack, one of many moves contributing to a shocker 3rd qtr. Whatever, hope White stays on him the whole game.

Would love to see TBird play FF for the remainder of the year. Can mark well, kick well and knows how to find space. Could be an X factor. Play inside 50; with Walks and/or Hendo and/or Waite being the more mobile leadup forwards

Maybe Austin will in fact play, for White or Laidler.

Like cazzes I'm a bit iffy about bringing in 3 players a bit short of a run. Curnow came straight back into the team for the Port match & was rusty...& if memory serves we played a few underdone guys against the tiges in 2008 & got done.

We could rush players straight back in 10 years ago but to me the game's just too much quicker these days. Anyway I hope I'm just being a nervous nelly. The Tigers have played some pretty good footy at times this year. It won't be easy.

Feeling bit better this week with Waite, Laidler and Robbo back..
Their ruck combo isnt much chop, so if Kreuzer/Warnock account for them (which they should do easily) and give Judd, Murphy, Robbo and co first use out of the middle, then it doessnt matter how tall Richmond's forward line is...

Good to see mad Mitch back in.

I think you'll find that bench + emergencies are named in alphabetical order.

That's pretty disappointing for O'Keeffe and Austin; I really felt Ellard deserved a spell, and White back after one VFL game is ludicrous (not to mention demoralising for Aussie).

But I got 2.5/4 on the incoming, and 2/4 on the outgoing after being told my changes were stupid.

Ratt`s definitely has his favorites. Can`t believe they selected White after watching the Bullants last week.
Austin was ok.

Well thats my hotcox moment. Wow. Did not see that coming at all.

Admittedly, grasping at straws here, but almost as if they decided "Shit...just did the ladder predictor...more than likely this game decides top 4...lets drop the experiments".

I have faith. I have faith. I have faith...

Austin for Witey, based on last week's games.

Track form would've proved crucial this week I reckon after the WC game. Laidler and White must have really trained the house down.

Rexy, that`s what worries me. Picking blokes on training form is dangerous. I think we have panicked a bit with these selections.

Not necessarily. A fierce attitude and clean/sharp touch with the footy says a lot, especially after a game like last weeks.

Maybe they have been training White super hard over the last 3 weeks. Perhaps that is why he looked tired last week.

Lets hope so and lets hope his tapered off to peak condition and is training the house down. He has played fullback more than others on the list apart from t bird and he was first choice replacement for Jamo at the start of the year.

I have faith. I dont think these coaches are the types to panic. They will do all they can to win this one.

Ridiculous.

White's disposal is worse than Austin, he's shorter, he makes worse decisions.

White's missed a lot of football.

It's a pathetically short-sighted decision.

Agree but id like Hendo to go back and make CHB his own, get him in the game more, has looked comfortable down back. He and Jamo to take big men with Thornton, Waite, Kreuzer & Walks all being targets up fwd.
