You would hope not....re Austin its now obvious that his inclusion last week was merely to shaft Hotcox....

I'm just peeved he won't be playing after HC forks out his 100 big ones.

Interesting changes. Hopefully Aussie gets another chance down the track.

With yazz being tagged in round 1, subbing him might not be such a bad idea.

We have to WIN. Would be crazy to risk losing by playing a guy that has never shown as much as White. Last week we needed him as we were down on personnel to combat the big WC forwards, and if he'd done really well he would have kept his spot.

No. Any of the 22

Regards Cazzesman

I thought the sub has to be one of the players named on the bench and if you are named in the starting on field lineup you cannot be the sub? I hope it isn't yaz as we need his run and skills off the hb line!

Getting one quarter out of a guy in our top 8 players seems a real waste. Surely he ain't gonna be the Sub :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

disappointing to see Austin dropped. i would think his days are over.

He has only just come back from injury, having missed the last 1.5 years out injured.
He has 12 weeks plus finals to show his wares.

If he has overcome injury and he has finally grown into his body he has time to strut his stuff.
If his body folds...he's gawn given we have McCarthy at 197 being groomed, and then there's Hendo (I hope he's our CHF) who could make a great CHB too.

Its in the hands of the Gods and Austin's determination to prove he is made of the right stuff.

I'm confident Laidler can take the tall but very light Griffiths leaving Thornton and White to take Vickery/Volt.

Meaning Henderson will play forward, however there is always the option of moving him to Vickery if need be.

Very disappointing for Mark
Might be the last time we see him in navy Blue.
His career has been a bit Hartlett-esque

Maybe he'll request a trade to the Tiges - box seat!

Interesting they dropped Miller.

And dropping Conca? What's with that? Do they think their midfield is so ridiculously overqualified that Conca is just taking up space?

I hope we did the right thing by keeping Ellard in the team. Really feel like he is due for a rest, and surely this game would suit Brock - would love to see him up against King.

I get a slight whiff of overconfidence from the Tiges this time around...
I think if our defense is functional we should get over the top of them. They don't have enough stoppers to cope with Waite, Walker & the Amigos. We should get out on the front foot early - they like to lead from the front.

I think Waite, Henderson, Kreuzer/Warnock and Walker is too tall up forward. Wouldn't be surprised if Henderson plays down back, and Laidler plays on a small this week.

Carrazzo is lucky to keep his spot in my opinion - needs a big game on Sat.

Who does he go to? Cotchin? Foley?

Hoops on Delidio?

And if that arrogant big-eyebrowed prick Daniel Jackson starts getting dirty & stuck into Judd, I will run out there from the MCC and clock the flower myself!!!!!

If I channeled Keogh I would have posted something along the lines of....

I like the 'ins', although there has got to be a little bit of risk in terms of match fitness. Disappointed for Austin and O'Keeffe.

The ins generally look good, but I wouldn't have brought in White for Austin. White struggled on Riewoldt in round 1 (though did battle manfully). Austin wasn't too bad last week, surely you give him another week to prove himself? Anyway, let's hope we smash the Tigers.

Sure, as long as you'll put a $100 on the bar if he isn't.
