This is actually a lot worse than it looks. A few things:

1. You'll notice in the photo that he's wearing BLUE jeans. Coincidence? I think not!

2. His first name is Stephen. Notice it's not spelt "Steven", but "Stephen" EXACTLY THE SAME WAY as former Carlton players Stephen Kernahan and Stephen Silvagni.

3. He is 26........... THE SAME AGE AS A NUMBER OF CARLTON PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!

This has to stop and it so shows up a lack of leadership at Carlton.

Sakc Ratten!!!!

Sakc Ray McLean!!!!

Sakc Stikcs!!!!

Terribly sloppy article in the Herald Sun. Michael Horan was paid to write this?

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/d ... 6068962781

Quote:
For the second week running the Bombers were proved vulnerable without skipper Jobe Watson and fellow mid-fielder Henry Slattery as an eqaully injury-depleted Melbourne unleashed a 6.2 to one point third term to rop the game away from itd more fancied opponent.

From the first bounce when Brent Moloney's hard attack on the ball won the dess a centre clearance, the Demons seemed sharper and duly had two goals to nil on the board from by the eight-minute mark.

Essendon* raised one last challenge, kicking the fist three goals to get as close as 13 points mid-way through the term before Melbourne steadied to seal the win.

It makes more sense if you read it in this guy's accent:

It's par for the course for the Hun anyway.

I hear this all the time: The Herald Sun are the name you can trust. Really? Are it?

They're forever talking about one criteria.

And spelling? Well that's gone out the window.

It's almost as bad as the so-called intelligent commentators. I'm over it. I can hardly understand them half the time. I've taken to watching the footy on mute, and prefer the distinct lack of atmosphere to the moronic and unintelligible crap that comes out of their mouths.

Demons did me a favbour as well. I don't usually have a punt, but thought we might have done a good job of firing up the Demons. Put a lazy $50 on at $4.05 and collected $202.50.

The win also gives us some space on the ladder with Bombers falling away.

Bombers' fitness chief Stuart Cormack runs into strife

Quote:
THE first cracks have appeared in Essendon*'s golden coaching panel, with the club pushing out high-performance manager Stuart Cormack this week.

But it is believed he had a philosophy that clashed with the football department's, in particular, senior assistant Mark Thompson.

"We have been discussing different things for a little while," Hamilton said.

"We considered if Stu would continue to the end of the year, but he's keen to look at other sports and he's tendered his resignation.

"In the end, it's been his decision to finish up now rather than later on."

The story wasn't on the backpage or the third page from the back, but seven pages in and on page 105.

The Herald-Sun translator must be broken.

Official word from Essendon* is that Cormack left to pursue other opportunities. :donk:

The star studded coaching line-up was always going to suffer from too many roosters.

The Hird/Thompson love affair will begin to crumble.

Let the blood flow. Yeehah.

AFL pay dispute front page show headline SHOW US THE MONEY & picture of Judd?
To my knowledge he's an ALFPA rep like Power or Ball etc.
Subtle but effective.

Considering Judd has a contract which overlaps into the new EBA he is the last person they should be showing. On the other hand the Herald Sun golden child Daisy Thomas who has not signed and is waiting to see what happens with the EBA does not make his usual weekly appearance.

C'mon, everyone knows Judd is only in it for the money, and is the only player that is..

Mitch Robinson - Suspended

Well according to the HS at least
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/r ... 6086134241

A couple quotes from the article...

Enjoying the return from suspension of Mitch Robinson to add to the imposing engineroom of Chris Judd, Marc Murphy, Andrew Carrazzo, Heath Scotland and Kade Simpson, the Blues pummelled the Tigers 66-33 in clearances and a thumping 22-9 at the centre bounce.

Robinson relished a return from a week's suspension to gorge on 30 possessions, one fewer than skipper Judd, who embellished a further best-on-ground display with a spectacular "triple double" of 11 clearances, 10 inside 50s and 10 effective tackles. By year's end he may well be a triple Brownlow medallist as well.

Seriously, how much do they pay these 'journalists'?

Or perhaps mitch was suspended but just like his concussions, no one noticed it?

Not good enough is it?
Reading the HUN today it is mentioned 3 times that Robbo was returning from a one week suspension. I commented on the article online but surprisingly it didnt get published.
