Apparently analytical thinking goes out the window for supporters when we're playing good footy; relax everyone. If Mitch has a foot complaint it can't be too serious and resting him would be precautionary.

Curnow has been a bit off and that change is no surprise to anyone.

Good lucky Rhys, well deserved
Hotcox is safe for another week :sly:

Interesting that we haven't replaced Duigan. Would've thought Bower or Austin would be a must against this mob.

Still time for a late withdrawal/free beer.

Curnow pulled up sore from training with a quad

R.O'Keefe could be the super-sub we have been waiting for?

I am very happy with the team and how much depth we have. Great to see ROK given a chance.

I feel it is all building nicely. :smoking:

According to his profile, ROK is 188 defender - so he might be the replacement? (from memory duigan is 186?)

O'Keefe is the Duigan replacement. Some good kicks out of defence in that side (ROK, Tuohy & Yaz)

this suddenly becomes a massive danger game with those changes.

Great to see O'Keefe get a game but I would have preferred McLean to come in for Curnow. He's banging the door down hard and it's not as if Armfield is in great form.
Plus it's preferable to see an inside mid come in for one.
Bad luck for Hammer but a big opportunity for Warnock. Someone needs to put deep heat in his jocks to fire him up a bit. The bloke has all the tools required to be a topline player, he just needs a bit more **** in him.

Blues by 30 points.

2 hard nuts in for 2 hard nuts and a 206 in for a 200. All looks roses to me

Both Army and ROK will be going at the contest like 10 men when they cross that white line. Both know how hard it is to get into this team and I doubt either will want their red jumper back.

Blues by 6 gls going away.

Regards Cazzesman

No Laidler, Waite, Duigan, Bower, White and Curnow. Hindsight might show that we should have promoted another tall defender and Mclean. They picked Henderson before he was ready and Walker as the sub, so they haven't nailed every match committee meeting. I hope I'm wrong, if we're not already preparing to trade Mclean and Austin, then they should be played. Fear we're underestimating WC's talls after Adelaide nearly beat us. Eagles are better at the stoppages than the Crows who nearly did enough to win.

Yep, one tall too few IMHO.

This will be interesting. If we aren't troubled by WCs talls, and win comfortably, then this could very well be the structure we stick with for the rest of the year. If they get on top of us, it might force the match committee to look at playing the extra tall backman against teams who have 3 key forwards (or even 2 + dangerous resting ruckman, like COllingwood).
