Im as angry with them coming back as I was in the 95 GF when Geelong kicked the last 4.

Not very.

Nothing to worry about too much in the last.

Krooz resting, Murph cramping, Ellard concussed...

Understandable taking the foot off the pedal in those circumstances.

It' not like we're as brave as Essendon*.

Two games clear of fifth now, that sets us up nicely for a top four finish

I hate these mofos with their Where's Wally? red and white striped socks and lame jumpers.

All you hear about is how good Kirk and Jakc are because they tag. :garthp:

The Dogs have been bagged for underperforming, yet they still have a better senior core and group of mids than Sydney. Jack, Jetta, Rohan, Kennedy, Hanneberry, Lamb, Parker, Moore, Bird and McGlynn won't win them any flags. If Roos can't take our early picks, wait until he gets a load of the Giants becoming the best NSW team.

Assuming Sydney lose to Collingwood next week, that'd make for an even bigger cushion.

Couldn't care less about the last qtr.

In the good old days we used to take the foot off the pedal quite often in the last

How refreshing it has been to know at half time WE WERE @#$%&! HOME

Things to do.
1./ beat the swans.....Tick.

2./sit back tomorrow nite and watch OTC.

3./keep idiot grin on the face from start to finish of show.

4./repeat process...but insert WCE for Swans.

btw... anyone else disappointed with the crowd today? 3 v 5 with a healthy swans contingent should be packing the dome seeing we got more to last weeks game against Brisbane.

A.....Hammer's done a knee apparently......(from the radio coming home)

B.......Today was the second biggest H&A Swans vs Blues crowd to a game in 1945!

some ratten post game quotes:

third qtr was outstanding , our pressure around the footy was enormous

kreuzers second and third efforts today were amazing, he was the best player on the ground today

Hampson will have scans tomorrow, hes been in great form so its a shame for him

Davey ellard has gone to hospital , we will know more later

we were maybe a little cute in the final term

there were aspects of zachs game today he will have to work on, hell learn a lot from today

we wont rush waite back , he needs to be 100%

Hammer

As for the attendance, just a little mystified on how we got more to 2nd from bottom Brisbane last week starting a 1pm. This week playing a rival top 4 team I was expecting high 40's, especially seeing the swans brought 5-7k of their own.

Good win, absorbed the pressure and then smashed em. Geez I hate channel seven.. so many ads

The ads are better than Bwuce.

Great effort from the guys today, in truth we smashed 'em. Just a bit disappointing the scoreboard doesn't reflect that. Still, a 5 goal+ win is a good result against the Swans.

Hammer got a knock to his knee apparently. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. He's getting scans tomorrow.

Mumford in strife for his tackle on Curnow, given previous form with Ablett last year???

CFC twitter said during the game that Hammer got a knock to the knee and it was being iced. Post match they said he'll be having scans tomorrow. Ellard in hospital with concussion and you'd assume very doubtful for next week.

If he's out it will be a shame as his last 3 weeks have been good. However, it gives Warnock the chance to stake his claim for a spot in our best 22 (just like Hammer did when Warnock went out with concussion!)

What I found most annoying in the last quarter was that around three of their goals game from silly free kicks we gave away. It would have been nice to flog them by 10 goals but we had the game wrapped up by midway through the third quarter and played from that point on without one of our rucks and then a man down in the last. (still not as brave as the Bummers)

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised at our third term, was expecting another grinding boring quarter like the second.

Weird day today... the fact that we can get 11 goals up on the team that sits 5th in two and a half quarters is very pleasing but our lapse in concentration will get punished come finals time. Something to work on but this group has so much upside.

Another solid team contribution with Murphy, Kruezer, Jamison and Yarran leading the way.

Wouldn't have lost any concentration if the scores had been close, so not really an issue. The other mob had their pride on the line too (you only had to watch Goodes in the last to see he was hurting). Of more concern is Hammer and Ellard for next week.
