I think you should reread your post.

I did, it it looks to me like I'm having another very good day.
How couldn't I given my team is having its best year over the last decade?

I can't keep a lid on it.
Have a look at my cellar, I've opened up all the good stuff.

If it feels good, do it.

...I am a bit out of control...being just so excited about our prospects this year and the coming years.
I'm excited that the media have only great things to say about our club whereas we all know what the media circus reported on when rererring to the Blues...all non football related. Now it's all football. Enjoy.

I think a couple other posters after my post seemed to understand where I was coming from. Did they miss something to?

Perhaps you might be kind enough to guide me as to where there may be some ambiguities in my post regarding other people's feelings.
I'd appreciate that because I'm not here to make anybody's day miserable. I'm not on this planet to do that either. PM me if you prefer.
Doesn't matter if you don't respond. Maybe you're having a bit of fun too. I hope so. It's a great time to be a Carlton supporter.

Back to the theme of the thread....I agree and hope the players keep a lid on it though. It seems from reading the Age this morning they are aware of last years pitfalls when the boys got a bit ahead of themselves.

Keep smiling! It's great that you are so happy!

I am not going any further with this as it is a lost cause.

You win.

You just put a lid on it.

I've got nothing to add.

We're getting massive kudos in the media. David King said Geelong won't beat us again  .

I think we're beyond the "getting ahead of ourselves" issue. If a team is good enough and mature enough, media attention won't affect them.

And he was another one 6 weeks ago (after the Sydney game), that was adament that no side relies on 1 player more than we do with Judd, and that anyone who believed that it was the team and not him that got us over line is kidding themselves.

My lid's been taken off an thrown away......

I've never been a horrible overbearing type of supporter like that Saints man I met last summer but there is something completely different about the way I talk football when we are going great....my friends didn't want to talk football with me last weekend....they tried so hard to change the subject....

Loved it :P

What?

OK, I was wrong. Just. I backed them for 7 goals win, but should win by 10 goals.
Damn well should've.

Lost the 7 goals in bet, but one miles more from Carlton supporters.

It's obvious, we're damn good. How can I keep a lid on the obvious. Wine, song, carlton, wo.........

I was a bit nervous before the game (as usual), and after the Swans 3 goals in 5 mins I thought it was time for us to not only adjust to the intensity, but to set the tone. Jeannie appears and wish is granted. In comes Duigan, Jamo, TBied, Yazz fro the backline, and from the guts our forwards ceome part of the midforwardline.

@#$%&! we're good.
I still wish we had a couple of games against both Pies and Cats before the finals to top spot.
and...to make them shit themselves before the finals and tell the worls we arrived last year, but it didn't quite work out because of injury

Ditto 2011...just one thing...we're even better than 2010.

I tell yu. You'd want to believe me.
The 2011 team has a better chance to win the flag than the 1999 team.

We're winers.
We're Bluebaggers
