Judd has never got the 3 votes in a game where he didn't receive any votes from the coaches.

I'd be surprised if he got any coaches votes for the game against Collingwood last season - but I could be wrong.

Reden's hand in the face behind play on Murphy was he not "making unreasonable and unnecessary contact to the face"
Judd/Rischitelli pressure point, face is sacrosanct hysteria must be forgotten.

8 actually, equal BOG with Luke Ball.
I'm surprised that anybody who watched that game could think that Judd didn't deserve votes.

We have done so well in other trades that the Brock trade IMO is now irrelevant....No 35 confirms this...

Still completely relevant for now and the next decade. Instead of Fyfe or Gysberts or whoever we picked up a guy no-one at Melb thought had much of a future and committed 3 years and about $1m in salary cap over that period. That will cost us this year, next year for many years. You can't get them all right but when a guy has had a 100 game AFL audition you shouldn't get it sowrong. Curnow and Ellard have been great but they are not in the same class at some of the in and unders at other clubs.

Brock is no better than Bentick but a lot more expensive. No amount of good trade decisions make a really bad decision right or justified.

Right.

I could dig up a lot of posts made by Carlton supporters who were writing off Walker as a one game wonder.

Short term memories are a funny thing.

We could have got Barlow with our last pick in that draft and so far he looks the best player from the traded pick on. Curnow was available to at our last pick too i think.

Brock was a gamble that didnt come off. Time to move on as Tommi says.

Celebrate Touhy !

I meant the Brock trade draft. Curnow would have been in that one wouldnt he?

I am just pointing out there were good players scattered all through that draft. Some didnt even get picked til the next year.

I dont really know what i am saying. Maybe its if you are going to cry over not getting Gysberts with 11 you may as well cry harder over us not getting Barlow with pick 100.
