This is Carlton's best start to a season since we started 11-2 in 1996.

Sweet!

Bury the Swans, Eagles and Dogs over the next 3 weeks and we will be in front.

It's a good year to be a Blue Bagger :smoking:

Lets hope we don't emulate 96; when we got thrashed in both Finals.

What I mean is......it's too early to get excited.....and....I'm an optimist..........

Can we change the thread title to 2011: our best start to a season since 1996?

So were gonna lose Judd to a season ending knee injury in the lead up to the finals?

Who else thinks Blueboy Dan should be banned for life for tempting fate with his above post?

We are not flying under the radar anymore. In the Huns mid season report Mike Sheenan has us finishing 2nd at the end of the year.

This will be interesting how we handle the pressure of expectation.

This is the next phase where we need to pass this test on the way to re-becoming a power club.

I think the only thing the players will be focussing on is getting their body and head right to enable them to hold onto/ earn their position in the seniors on a week to week basis. No one can afford a slip up. It takes too long to regain a spot...if they do.

For that reason alone, I think all the (positive) hype is media generated (and of course well deserved), and the supporters are going to lap up hearing great reviews about their team.

Just as long as we have our best finish since 1995, I'll be happy.

Best finish since 95? - bugger that. I want us to finish better than in 95!
