I think what we are now seeing is Carlton putting 22 players on the park who can either beat or break even with their direct opponent at every contest.

I mentioned that Zach was 1 of the missing pieces we really needed and I honestly believe that. He can beat his man and he can create with excellent running and even better execution. As much as I love the efforts of AJ and Army I think Zach has them both covered with his all around game. I doubt Zach will be out of this team much from here on in.

Hendo is the other 1 we have been waiting on. He will help free up Waite and if Walker gets the 3rd best defender then I will back him more times than not. Hammer stepping up just makes us look a real threat. Get Laidler back in and I think the rest will be between the ears regarding how far we go this year.

Regards Cazzesman

Zach is a beauty

Reads the playlike he's been playing for years

Hardly a mistake all day & how refreshing is his disposal by foot

I have to say I really loved today's game, and for so many reasons. The team felt and played like 22 that should be there and doing their all to hold their spots as well as seeing the development and signs from some key players I have been waiting to seen.

Hammer and Hendo - taking really solid marks and being in the contest (Although I would have liked to have seen Hendo go back and have a few shots instead of trying to pass it on)

Zac Tuohy - Wow! great game and great goal... he goes in with the other good of standout additions to this years lineup

Kruuuuuuuze - Did everything we all wanted to see today, great work mate!

Mitch - wow slow down dude, great effort and work rate but I would love to have you playing a grand final instead in hospital somewhere!

Judd, Murph, Simmo, Scotland, gibbs, curnow and Carazzo - Solid, week in week out. they all know their roles and get the job done.

Walker - I'm going to say it... Playing Tex in the forward line and keeping him at the blues was just as good a move as putting Yazz on HB!

Betts and Garlett - great work not much more to say they were great!

Jammo - Easily an All-Australian and in the best form he has been in

All in all I wouldn't make any changes for next week, and I don't think Syd or WCE will be that easy but I do think we can get over the line with the confidence in this group. And today's game was one we all needed easy win, never in doubt everyone single player did what was needed it was great!

Great poise and disposal skills but just as impressive (without recording any stats) is his hard running in support of teammates.

Loved Gibbs' game today. Superb in the first half.

Ellard was as clean as a whistle today. He stays.

Fantastic that Kreuzer got through and Hendo and PB got some valuable minutes.

Murph gone to another level. Real chance for the Charlie this year.

love Tuohy when I first saw him at the ants.
As I said we have improved our kicking and we really prssure well.
And I reckon Etihad is now a ground we excell at because its a small ground and because of our pace we dont give opposition teams peace when they have the ball.
Robinson and Ellard have been major bonuses along with Curnow and Duigan. They are tough players which we really needed.

good to see Hendo play a full game this week.
kreuz as well.
the most important player on our list is Jamo.
If he goes down we are in big trouble
We need another big guy down back.
Then the jigsaw is complete

Lots more good things today:
- a little bit smarter inside 50 - Walker learning when to lead and when to speccy, Kreuz smart, Betts still not quite clever enough but getting form slowly
- Jamo showing amazing speed, anticipation and confidence
- team definitely not going flat out but still a big win
- Robbo developing poise and confidence each week (I hope his mother doesn't watch him torpedo head first into packs)
- Yazz
- Thornton giving a contest (but we cannot have him and Bower in the backline at the same time)
- Hampson reading the game better and even held some marks
- Ellard (as someone else said, doing simple things well)
- Navy blue jumpers
A genuine test next week again of where we are really at.

The MC may have to give you what you dream to see.

Waite has to come in, and where do you put him?

Hendo lead up CHF...well he's damn good at that.
Kreuzer/ Hampson at FF...well the sub rule has forced us to go that way.
Walker the other marking, crumbing goal kicking machine
Betts and Garlett the crumbers and force field.
The other HFF is usually reserved for the defensive forward or rotating midfielders (Judd/ Murphs dod shifts there)

I can't see us going 4 talls by adding Waite into the forwardline.

Maybe Waite goes to CHB...and there's the puzzle sorted. :gift:

Really good team effort today.
Great to see Kreuzer back.
Good games by Murphy, Judd, Walker, Simpson, Robbo, Jamo, Ellard, Gibbs, Betts.
Loved Touhy's goal, and then the celebration.
Just read a report on the club website and it mentions an incident involving Robbo which may be looked at by the MRP. Anyone see it?

Is anyone else enjoying Judd's little runs up forward the last couple of weeks?
He's not kicking them, but boy is he handy on the score assist

Robbo should be fine for the one on Black just clumsy fell over him for mine nothing in it.
The Redden one he got low so should be okay just outrageous mad at it, but haven't seen the TV footage, If I remember it correctly he was on his back after so hardly intentional but with the chooklotto system who knows (Again haven't seen the TV footage).
The Robbo's madness makes you proud to be a supporter of the club!

AFL guy #1: "Well there's this Mitch Robinson report. Doesn't look like much in it."

AFL guy #2: "Yeah, you're right. Don't think it deserves a suspension.

Afl guy #3 (overhearing this convo): "Hey don't they have Sydney next week?"

#1 & #2 (together): "Yeah, why?"

#3: "Well, do you want this guy anywhere near Adam Goodes?"

#1: "My God, you're right"

#2: "Guilty, even with early plea! DO IIIIT!"

There were 2 incidents. The one with black should be ok as he didnt hit him in the head although a bit reckless. The other one could be more of an issue but it looked like he pulled up and the other bloke ran into him. You never know though.
