Laidler back in a week or two. Waite back next week. Real fight between Bower and Thornton to hold their spots.

Great to see Kruezer and Henderson back. Real marking targets up forward. Garlett and Betts should have some fun!

I think it will be: Robinson, Curnow, Touhy with Carrazzo as sub.

Nah, I think: Andrew Carrazzo, Mitch Robinson, Zach Tuohy with Ryan Houlihan as sub...I don't think Curnow is quite right...

I'd probably go with that as well with curnow to replace carazzo in a couple of weeks.

I just cant see Curnow missing out. Needed the run last week and they have found that the two inside players is vital. If Curnow was out I would expect McLean to come in.

Warnock and Hoops both picked for Bullants Foxtel Cup Game.

Looks like Curnow, Tuohy or Armfield to miss.

Not sure I like the extra talls. Our speed with less talls was working well.

Yeah, I think we have gone too tall in defence, we realy should have Tuohy down there instead...I like the quality of the ins but the team just doesn't look balanced...

If Curnow is fit he plays IMO too good a player....can't find a position for Zach so he should miss....

Thornton - Retzlaff
Jamison - Brown
Bower - Clark

Still Clark and Brown could cause problems.

Hampson is no certainty due to injury. If he doesnt come up then Nockers will have to come in. We may lack a bit of fitness in the ruck dept.

Hope those in charge dont change it up any more than Henda Bower and K in.

Team defence. Win the clearances and lock it in our half. If they get it out make sure its under pressure and on our terms. Get that right and those blokes wont bother us even if in form.

Like Houlihan for versatility to go forward or back. His accurate kicking may also help with our wayward scoring which is stilll a problem. If not this week for Houli I still see him in our best twenty two in the coming weeks.

Don't think the three ruckmen (Kreuzer, Hampson and Warnock) will all play in the one side, as it will be too top heavy (Ah La Essendon*). One of them has to come out, my hunch is that they may leave Kruezer out. We need a fit and experienced ruckman up against Leuenberger, and that player has to be Warnock if he's fit. ( Kreuzer is a gamble IMO.) Jamo to Brown, Thornton to Clark. Houlihan the sub, to come on when required, and have one gut busting quarter. Our midfield should outplay theirs, Garlett and Eddie have plenty of opportunities, and we should end up with a comforatble win. :fight:

The MC obviously see the value in playing Bower in the seniors.

He must be fit.

Yes he is a tall at 193cm backman, but the kid is quick and mobile: 2 in 1.

Looking forward to more of that heart in the throat kamikaze line breaking crazy stuff only he can do.

For those who don't know, Bower was the U18 AA CHB and Josh Kennedy was the CHF in the same year.
Josh went pick 4 and Bower pick 20.I heard Bower use to get the better of Josh back in those days.

Great to see him back.

There's pressure on Bower and TBird to keep their spot with Laidler coming back.
With TBird is in some sort of form most pressure will be on Bower.

Carlton by 10 goals at least. I'm going same as last week.
I reckon we'll apply ourselves better than last week and a 15 goal win is on the cards, and maybe 3rd spot if Cats beat Hawks.

..3 rucks named, with the Krooz as starting ruck and Hammer at FF.. ..Knockers listed on the extended bench is vulnerable i guess, since usually the starting 18 named on these extended squads are usually 'safe'..

..but is the Krooz up to it so soon?, since Luey and Clark are a good rucking combo.. ..only real question marks on those two would be their youth/inexperience.. ..which is balanced out by our own young/inexperienced rucking division..
