Looks like Mclean/Laidler out for Curnow/Tuohy.

Armfield is our super sub so he is in, as is Robinson. Assume Ellard is still good which leaves one spot. Russell if fit or maybe Houlihan.

* In: Ryan Houlihan, Aaron Joseph, Lachlan Henderson, Zach Tuohy, Edward Curnow
* Out: Brock McLean, Jeremy Laidler
* New: Zach Tuohy (County Laois (Ireland))

Jordy is probably doubtful.....rather they not risk him. IC should be Hoops, Lachie, Mitch, Army.

Ed's inclusion probably means that Ellard will miss out ?

Pretty pacy line up with Zac, Yazz, Garlett, Simmo, Judd, Murph, Army & Eduardo

Yeah get the feeling JR will miss
And I don't have a massive problem with that
We are playing one of the worst performed teams this year
Why risk an important player ??

Warnock not fit?

I'm tipping Russell won't make the team, and thus my final IN/Out I think will read.

IN: Houlihan, Curnow, Touhy

OUT: McLean, Laidler, Russell

Also noticed some interesting reasons on the Melbourne Outs...

MELBOURNE
Out: Matthew Bate (Not enough bruises), Michael Newton (Bruise free), Matthew Warnock (Not enough bruises), Ricky Petterd (Bruise free), Addam Maric (Cheating)

Really struggling to understand why we would drop McLean now...

Agreed he hasn't been overly impressive but if ever there was a time to give him an extended run it is now with the 'softer' games against Port, Brisbane etc. Wouldnt want to be taking chances on him at the back end of the season.

All signs pointed to Ratts wanting McLean in the team and it seemed he'd get a good run of games to show his wares. He was getting 30s in the VFL all year so I dont really see what point there is to play him back there now. His issue was adjusting to the speed of the game and his role in the 22, he can't address that playing 2's.

If not know for Brock, then when? (Unfortunately the answer may be never)

Will this be the last time we see this?

Out: Brock McLean

Has he had enough chances? Has he done enough to warrant a spot in this side next year?

You gotta admit, he has hardly looked like a decent VFL player, let alone a senior AFL player since he came over from Melbourne. He looks slow, skill wise he looks terrible and quite frankly he looks lost and confused.

Can't play Curnow, Ellard and McLean in the one side.

Quite a bit of rain predicted in Adel on Sunday, can see Zach being very useful down back if that's the case and makes up for not having another Laidler like tall back there, reckon we'll go with a smaller but yet physical backline.

Maybe no Warnock as they think Hammer will be more mobile in the wet?? Not a day for the tall timber? Carlos will love it though, he's a duck!

Can't play Curnow, Ellard and McLean in the one side.

Yet we flirt with bringing Joseph in who we can't play either really with Curnow and Ellard in the side....

Bit harsh maybe.
He's contracted next year and with the amount of injuries that are occurring these days I'll bet he gets some more opportunities.

Brock now needs a few more VFL games under his belt - Now that he has seen what has happened at AFL level in the 2 seasons that he has been out he knows what to go back and work on. I am sure that he will be under strict instructions to focus on certain areas of his game (IMO what he does when the footy in not in his vicinity). He needs to learn and understand how to play the press. what he shouldn't do is just play on the ball and pick up 30 possessions without addressing other issues.

I have no problem sending him back if there are better players who deserve the spot pushing. In fact I think that is absolutely consistent with the No Passengers theme.

I still believe that he will make it back into the seniors by finals time.

I'll go with:

Ed, Zac & Ryan in
Brock, Jordan & Jeremy out

Ryan as the sub, if not, then Dennis

Regards,
Navy

Bloody hell. Depth. What a bench.

Saw the bench and thought, what are they doing? Then went through the team, and thought, who are they going to drop?

Go Blues.

I'm not suggesting we should delist him................ i'm just asking the question.

From my opinion, he hasn't impressed me once since moving from the Demons. YES - i know he's carried a few injuries and had an interupted pre-season, but maybe the game has past him by or perhaps our style of play isn't suited to him.

I know one thing, i'd be taking Curnow over him anyday.

I didn't realise he was contracted for next year. Good luck to him, I wish him the best............... but i'm just asking the question.

I reckon it's time for Henderson to get a game. Important player for us 'going forward' . Can't think of a better time to get him back in the team.
