I love Robbo's enthusiasm and my mates and I just call him the Psycho now. I have never seen a player so completely mad and without a shred of self preservation. He is important to the team but either needs to stick to hand passing or become self aware when he has that 2 extra seconds to steady himself and make the right passing by foot option. The pass to Walks in the Saints game shows he has a decent enough kick, its the grey matter that can let him down at times.

He reminds me very much of Fraser Brown in his early years. Browny`s disposal and discipline was ordinary at times too but he proved to be such a vital part of the side.

Good call -maybe he's the new Mad Dog!

Watching Kreuzer in the Bullants yesterday, you'd be tempted to bring him in for Hampson who is bordering on useless.

However, I reckon Kreuzer just needs another match or 2 just to regain some confidence in his knee.

Houlihan looked alright and could come in to replace one of our defenders?

And what's this talk of Scotland? I reckon he's having his best season ever.

Going over for this game - anyone here from Adelaide or know about Adelaide's public transport system?

from memory, if youre staying in town you can catch a bus directly to the ground. approximately a 20 min ride

I'm heading over as well, just google 'footy express', the buses run to and from most places in the land of barrels. Unfortunately there isn't a post-game shuttle to the Grand yet.

Collins can play, don't worry about that.

If he's fit and in form I'd have him in as quick as a flash.

What's wrong with Hampson's ruckwork?

I love how the big fella gets it, yet pure role players like Armfield, Ellard and O'hAilpin generally get a tick and slide on by in post-match review. Warnock and Hampson will be needed with Kreuzer unlikely to take centre bounces for some time. Both are good tap ruckman who can follow up their rucking at ground level. Essendon* are rucking Bellchambers and Ryder ahead of Hille because he's had leg injuries.

Willing to give him another go despite being in virtual negative Supercoach score territory in Ess game

Pressure the key to down Blues: Port

Port Adelaide onballer Travis Boak says Port's young midfield believe sustained pressure is key to toppling their highly rated Carlton opponents this weekend.

Port posted their second AFL win of the season with a victory over Richmond in Darwin on Saturday night, prevailing over a better credentialed Tigers' midfield group.

Boak says a similar challenge awaits when the Power host the fourth-placed Blues this Sunday.

"They are probably one of the top three midfield groups in the competition," Boak said on Monday.

"It is going to be a fantastic challenge for us ... we will probably learn a lot from (Chris) Judd and (Marc) Murphy and these sort of guys, and we're really looking forward to it.

Wasn't too long ago that this type of article would have been a Carlton player explaining how they were going to try their best against a much better opposition.

We have made it.

Plus there would be a few comments thrown in about how can we be less reliant on Fev, or where will our goals come from without Fev, etc etc

This is the weirdest pre-match thread I can remember seeing. Scotland can't kick or run?

I reckon any team's depth would be tested if three players from essentially the same position go down in the one week. Hardly a sign of crisis in terms of list management.

I'm hoping Houla gets a run. Ultimately I'd like to see him return to his defensive forward role which he was excelling in last year, however this week he'll probably settle across half back. I don't see the sense in disrupting two positions on the ground (eg by moving Houla forward and moving walker back). Big lesson from the NFL when they replace injured linemen.

Hopefully the extra day or two allows JR and Duigan to come up.

I must say one thing which has got me very pleased right now - the lack of fanfare surrounding the Blues. With all this carry on over Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn, the boys are slipping under the radar very nicely. It should continue with us in the graveyard shift this week. let's put another decent W on the board, move the % up a little and quietly go about our business.

Hammers contribution was no better or worse than Warnocks last two efforts - but i suppose you could argue it was against weaker opposition
