I'm apologising in advance to those on this forum who may be offended by the following post :thumbsup:

Cons;

my 2 sons aged 12 and 15 upon seeing our clash strip........" dad, why are we wearing those poofter jumpers?"

my wife............"Carlton look like a bunch of poofs"

Pros;

my sons ........"dad,why are we wearing those poofter jumpers?"

my wife........."Carlton look like a bunch of poofs"

Someone had to say it.

No matter what the circumstances, we should never wear that strip in a Grand Final.

Not sure if it is a pro or a con but was having a beer with some friends after the game (all Melb supporters) and a another random Melb supporter came up to us while we were debating how Jack Watts is going and how he hasn't come on as most people thought he would have

Melb supporter: Well Watts isnt the only tall draft pick not to have come on. I don't think Kreuzer has done much.
Me: what do you mean? I think he has played bloody well since he has been in the system.
Melb supporter: nah i dont think he is really played any good games he would be about the same as Watts and he has been in the system longer than Watts
Me: Ah I think he is way ahead of Watts and he hasn't played for about 12 months with his knee injury as well.
Melb supporter: Yeah but I saw him out there tonight and he made a lot of errors.
Me: Huh? He wasnt playing tonight! He did his knee last year and has only just come back in the 2nds.
Melb Supporter: well who was your ruckman then? that was Kreuzer wasnt it?
Me: Ah no that was Hampson and yes he didnt have a great game.
Melb Supporter: oh whoops I take that back then. I guess Kreuzer is going better than Watts.

Not that bad...

At least he didn't refer to Watts as number four.

Were there a set of chains wrapped around his head - or were they still in the boot of his car. :roll:

I'm sick to death of the absolute disrespect on this site. The disrespect shown to warhorses who turn up each week, every week, to advance the cause.

It's Waldorff and Steadtler - not 'the two old geezers'.

Show such f'n respect!!!

Jack Watts is starting to look a bit Lachie Hansen. Not sure he will ever "get there".

I don't think many will be offended ... it says a lot more about your family than it does about the jumpers.

well the melb dude was partially correct, kroooooooooooze didnt exactly dominate any games pre-injury, i remmeber posting at the time that i felt he was struggling and several people agreed and suggested he may need a run in the magoos,. he wasnt holding marks , if he was pick 27 he would just be another player, because he was pick 1 we all have pre-conceived ideas he's a champion.

Except that Kreuze got injured, and suddenly we were getting slaughtered in the middle, and went from 7-5 (including big wins against the Cats and the Saints), and ended up 11-11.

Yes. I too am absolutely outraged that people might dare to not be 100% sanitised and politically correct when talking amongst themselves.

His wife and child are a disgrace to humanity and all that is civil, and you were right to call him on it.

You sir, are a true internet crusader. Keep up the good fight.
