Looks like ruck men are the only ones that aren't allowed to drop or throw the ball..interesting

Rubbish delivery into the F50.
Ratts needs to put someone on Melbs loose back to stop that interception.
We are playing into their hands at every attempt.

Nah, about 3 goals too many kicked so far this match.

(b) a Player’s arm is knocked which causes the Player to

(c) a Player’s arms are pinned to his or her side by an opponent

Player has had a prior opportunity to Correctly Dispose of
the football, in which case Law 15.2.3 (a) shall apply;
(d) a Player, whilst in the act of Kicking or Handballing, is
swung off-balance and does not make contact with the
football by either foot or hand, unless the Player has had
a prior opportunity to Correctly Dispose of the football,
in which case Law 15.2.3 (a) shall apply; or

The AFL have completely changed the rules in this area of the game to keep things moving.

Not sure what mandate they have for this, other than "crowds are up, ratings are up".

Would you rather have a free flowing game, or one full of stoppages?

Melbourne are shit and dragging us down to their level. Such a horrible game to watch. Was so glad when the half time siren rang so I didn't have to see any more of that comedy of errors!

Thought the game would be like this.

Last week we played a side that's got great skills, and the level increases.

Play some scrubbers and the level decreases.

Looks slippery. Need to restructure our forward entry's.

Will win by 60 plus.....

Because we're one of the best exponents in the league at the forward press.

Certainly not because of accurate goal kicking.

A win is a win. I dont care how and by how much. Demons are playing defensive too avoid a belting, hard to play against. We lack structure, assume we will improve in the second half.

We really need to learn how to be ruthless, dictate the gamestyle and play to our own level.

Its a bit ugly at the moment, but its something the players need to work out.

Time for Judd, Murph, Simmo, Scotland and Gibbs to take control and show their teammates whats required.

They haven't really changed the rules except for the prior opp. They just specifically listed the ones which are not free kicks rather than leaving it a bit vague.
