The way Melbourne is playing we should be very pissed off if we do not win every qtr by at least 2 goals.

So a 48 point win is my pass mark for this game (would help the % as well).

Couldnt agree more

Plus their outs through suspension and injury. I would be surprised if we didn't smash the Dees this week.

If we're switched on we should beat Melbourne by 10 goals.
Hopefully the reported disappointment at just losing to Geelong sees the boys breathing fire this week.

Sure, we SHOULD hammer them this week, but given their injuries, they were pretty competitive v Saints last week, the latter having Montagna back and with plenty to play for.

Only a few weeks ago they beat Crows by 96 pts at the G and last year beat Swans by 70 plus points at the G. The Pies had to fight to the death to beat them BOTH times at the G last year.

They play out of their skins @ the G and without Warnock, Curnow and possibly a reduced Judd output (or no Judd??), we'd be foolish to not be 110% focused for this.

Crows led Pies by 4 goals until late in game y'day, shite can happen!

too many here stuck in the dark years when changes happened as fast as the titanic sank as we struggled to field a competitive side

the side is travelling well, is ultra-competitive and growing in spirit - that means players form can ebb and flow and we will still win and if we don't it will not be because of that ebb and flow

no changes unless a neccessity

Ideally I'd like Henderson and Houlihan in the side, but I just don't know who to drop for them. We're travelling along very nicely and I'm sure they're not keen on making too many changes to a winning formula.

In regards to match-ups, I'd kinda like Gibbs to play on Watts. I quite like Watts, but I feel that Gibbs would own him whether it be forward or back. Jamo to Jurrah, Laidler to Pettard, Russell on Bate.

Give McLean a 3 week run (until Curnow is definitely ready to return) - if he can't get into a decent groove vs. Melbourne, Port and Brisbane then it won't ever happen for him.

I'd be happy to rest Judd this week. I know you don't flirt with form, but if his foot needs it, then this is a pretty decent opportunity. Melbourne are the kind of side we should beat comfortably.

Touhy in. Not sure who's out, but I reckon it's time for the Irish experiment MKII.

He's back on the rookie list, not eligible.

Pity.

If there's no injuries I'd just bring in Hendo for Army who looked to be not quite on the pace vs the cats.

Hendo, who moved pretty well across the ground at Werribee, will give us added flexibility forward and back.

Whens the baby due?

Is it too early to induce?

Would fix two issues at once.

Judd playing 80% is better than 90% of the Melbourne side.
