Notice they kept Tambling long enough to secure the multi million $ Fed` Gov` grant money for their Indigenous Center at Punt rd redevelopment.

Was that the precursor to North picking Majak Daw and getting a Multicultural centre built using taxpayers dollars?

We're the green club.

We recycle players who left their original club.

Judd, Warnock, Henderson, Laidler, Collins, Scotland and Mclean. :smoking:

Pathetic, insipid, disgraceful, post.

We lost by 4 points to the previous years premiers in one of the games of 2009. Fevola's mark in the last quarter before he hit the post was the most excited i was for the whole 2009.

Bit off topic, but re our round 8 game: does the media not care that 1 plays 4 this Friday? Lots of love on the radio for Essendon* and Richmond game but I'm not feeling the love for the two top 4 teams having a crack at each other.

Maybe they're saving it for later in the week but still...

Just to continue getting off the topic I drive past their new facility every day. For the last six months the facade has been all yellow and black. This week some red bits were added to the facade, I wonder why it took so long to add the red bits?

Anyway we have four indigenous boys going around this week.

Go Blues.

Thanks for that link Don! Some great viewing.

Does anybody know whether Curnow is indigenous as well?

Yeah I've found that a bit odd myself. Although there have been a few articles floating about. I would expect some big write-ups come Friday.

If we get over the line in this one the draw opens up a bit for us. We've come through a tough stretch, time to get through this next big test, then keep the foot down and show the league what we're about.

I don't really see where the Cats have improved in the area we've exploited against them the last couple of years - winning clearances and then burning them for pace in their backline.

Blues by 27 points.

I think with all the negative talk about coming off the bye week, we'll be fired up at the start and it'll be a tight contest.

I think a bigger test will take place the next week when we take on Melbourne. That will be a test of maturity and if we really have adopted the "uncompromising" mindset.

Yeah I think Donstuie you might be confused, you sound like you're thinking of the game in 2007 that we lost by 100 points to the hawks, not the 4 point thriller at the G...

Hard to label that 2009 game as insipid...

Wasn't there a poster (SAS1987?) that used to always sneaky leak the team in advance?

Reckon we're a big chance

We match up well against them

They are not quick and we are

They have trouble with our small fwds

They don't have superstar tall fwds, so that helps our undersized backline to an extent (though on their day Pods and Mooney can trouble any team)

We have won 2 of last 3 and the game they won Ablett hurt us bad, and he is not there any longer

Alos expect a huge game from Laidler - hopefully

Good changes. Obvious, but good to see them made.
