Bondi, I think he might have you confused with Sydney. ;)

Thanks for listening Ratts.

Great.

BG72, I got the message too. Is it sent to all members?

I thought it was a good touch, but was amused by the comment about the boys concentrating on goal kicking at training. It says they will be having 40 shots at goal per week - surely that is a misprint. I would have thought 40 or 50 per day would be a minimum - country footballers would do that and they are not full time pro's.

re the goal kicking...
lucky we can even get 40 per week, what with those bullying sports physio health experts around.

Yeah i did.

My Bad Bondi. :yikes: Sorry mate!

On Kreuzer.........
I'm with you, i'd love to see him back in the side, but after a knee reco, not playing for a whole year and with pretty much zero pre-season preperation i'm not rushing him back.
In fact, I'd only probably play him for a half of football this weekend. I reckon he could do with at least 3 or 4 games just to get some confidence back.
Imagine how he's gonna feel flying in a pack after what he went through last year. It's daunting just thinking about it and it's not even my knee.

Thornton, well i've stuck up for him in the past but i'm getting used to the idea of him not being in our best 22.

On Hampson. Well I like your thinking, and it's easy to forget his only 23 this year. He does have some freakish athletic abilities. He has time.

Re: 40 shots, there'd be what 4 skills sessions a week max? 10 shots a session across the team is pretty good.

Plenty of time for them to practice set shots on their own.

Seems if Brock gets through the bullants game unscathed he'll get his chance. I look forward to see the new more mobile Brock McLean.

Might be a record crowd at the Bullant this week for H&A.

Will be interesting to see whether they play Brock in the Bullants this week - they should b/c I think it will be good to have a few players battle hardned although Brock's luck will mean he'll probably twist his ankle in the last 5mins....

Yeah, I thought about that too. Given it's a short week for the Bullants (and they had a pretty tough game against Casey last week), I would expect Brock to have no more than 75% TOG this week against Frankston if the MC intend to play him against the Cats.

Assuming he gets through that OK, I'd say he's in (having said that, Etihad isn't ideal for him so that might put some doubt in the MC's mind)...

I'm glad to read I haven't given you nightmares Sydney.

And anyway Bondi Beach is a suburb of Melbourne, like Noosa and Broadbeach. Isn't it?

Hey Ryan 2000, you have a short memory and don't know me at all anymore.
I remember lots about you: health issue, overcoming that by running around PP, running next to Kouta, Setanta fan....
I was even a fan of yours till your last post. Don't you remember you and I working the Setanta haters as a team? Doesn't matter anymore.

You're a seriously weird unit. Don't take a football messageboard so seriously....

If you think I take it seriously, then you're right to think that, if that's what you want to do.

I knew Ryan would work out his mistake.

Hey Rhino, got have a bit of fun sometimes. Stirring is good therapy...until someone takes you too seriously.

Wojcinski will be lucky to play after his kick on Didak.

Pies were flat as pancakes in the first quarter. We need to be wary of that coming off the bye.

Be interesting to if the MRP look at that. Ling had one arm held and driven into the ground.

Just think how good it is going to be when we run them off their legs next week!

Go Blues!

We'll need to be at our absolute best to have a chance next week. Cats are skillful and tough as nails.

Also run out of legs in the last as well.

Nice of the AFL to have Geelong play Carlton and Collingwood coming off the bye...
Better that the cats won tonight, feel good about themselves and mentally drop off for next week...
