Gritty, tough win. First season proper game I've been able to go to this year.

Horrible skills and the Saints tried to suck us in with a pathetic attempt at a melee at qtr time.
I was worried we'd be sucked into this ploy and the Carlton of just one year ago would've done exactly that.
Judd seemed well below his best.
Momentum swung to the Saints.
Defence under seige and poor decision making coupled with awful conversion at goal all night.

I admit, I lost faith.

BUT! This TEAM has STEEL! BACKBONE! PRIDE!

A win like this gives supporters HOPE.
Hope that we can come back from anywhere.

Yeah the Saints are crap and I was hoping for an easy victory.

But a win like this, hard earned, might be better in the long run.
