A bit glass half empty IMO

In Adelaide for work, logging on to iPad app, on and off for the last few mins, very stressful. Just watching the replay now.

Used to live in Adelaide a long Bob Shearman dropkick from Unley oval, so a long term Sturt supporter as well as Carlton. Clash strip was blue nostalgia for me although I did go to the M&M game years ago.

We wouldn't have won that game in previous years, which is a good sign. :sly:

:smoking:

Probably one of the few (including me, and Motts) who actually liked that strip.

We did beat the Crows though.

Yes, Ben (son of Sandy - another SOS???) Nelson must have thought he hadn't changed clubs! :sly:

Considering our recent record against Crows, Swans and Saints, I think you are wrong.

BUT, we have to get better at maximising our scoring opportunities. The game should have been put away by half-way through the 3rd quarter.

Look, its great to win ugly. But if we are going to repeatedly win ugly, we are simply masking problems. We cannot keep getting possession to then butcher it. The 3rd quarter was abysmal. If we are a top 4 side, we should have put them away.

Waites decision making most of the time is extremely poor and as for Simmo's brain fade from 35m directly in front. What the?

I agree and disagree. We haven't really beaten anyone of note cause there aren't many above us! :D

But yeah, we've nearly lost 3 games this year with absymal kicking and have won on guts and dare I say it luck, another minute tonight and we'd have lost, and it would have been an epic choke after being 28 points up in the third term. But in the past we'd have lost those games.

And dont' get me started on Waite. :banghead: :banghead:

Watching the second half after listening on the radio, Saints Footy was back. We looked buggered though which didn't help.

Two tough games in a row, I think the boys need the rest this week.

Gee, I thought this was a thread where we could offer our opinions on how the Carlton football team played tonight without having to revert to pathetic name calling and irrelevant and uncalled for personal smears.
