I think we should bring in Watson for this game to mind Kosi and release White to the forward line where he has shown that he knows his way around and proven he can be quite handy. On a dry deck we will need another tall through the forward half. Setanta to stay as ruck relief with stints up forward as needed

Dead set if Bower was a race horse he would have been put down 2 years ago.... how often is he injured ?

If there is any doubt over Murphy or Yarran do not play them

Does anyone know if Kruzer will be back after the bye ?

It is starting to sound like a chronic condition and I watched the Ants game where Paul did the injury and I cannot recall a particular incident where he may have aggravated it.

They are in deep shite ATM and we are flying, confidence-wise.
Last time around IIR we kicked the highest score they had had against them for several years.
Reiwoldt is always a worry in these games because, despite what people write on here, he is a genuine game turner and on his night will win a game off his own boot.
IMO we have the cattle and the willpower to do it.
I'll be lying awake at 0400 listening to the boys remind them that their window has slammed shut.

With Dawson suspended their chances have actually increased! Less turn overs for us to feed off.....Doh!!

Shit, they might replace him with someone who can play.

The Sydney match reminded me of the 2009 game against the Saints where Judd busted his nose. If he hadn't we would have done them just like we did Sydney, but Dawson sealed the game for them. Glad he's out.

They got smashed by Essendon* at Etihad but they don't lose many games there.....and we don't win many there.....it's very good value. And how often do we win when we are the favourite??

To those investing in a Saints win, sorry fellas but IMO y'all throwing away your hard earned.

We out-swanned the Swans... in Sydney, at the SCG, in driving rain. To me that speaks volumes on the steely resolve developing within this group - probably borne from the devastation of losing close, winnable finals, 2 years running.

SELF BELIEF. I reckon that's what we're taking away, in spades, after the Sydney game.

If the Saints come out firing (a possibility, given the current media focus), we will still beat them!

And if they don't, then we will SMASH them!

GO BLUES!!

Forget Crywoldt, forget Kosi, completely forget about Dawson - the reason we will win, and win well, is because Hayes isn't playing.

He is their #1 - it starts and stops with Hayes.

I agree that we played an awesome game Vs the Swans and thats probably the proudest ive been of the blues in a long long time, great team win. But i just am concerned with all the cr*p they have been copping in the media how they are gone and that they should rebuild etc... that they will come out really fired up... and on the flip side we may get too happy with our effort last week and play like heroes. I really really hope this isnt the case..... in the past this is exactly what would happen. Im hoping we have moved on from this mentality.

If we play anywhere near our best and tackle hard and win the contested ball we will kill them... if we try to get cute and not do the hard things like we have been, we will get slaughtered.

PS: Reiwoldt has been locked in as my dream team captain.

When we beat the Aints last year in R7 we all thought we were on our way, but then we crashed.

We've got another chance to make amends.

Not good re Bower

Although at the least the club is giving us a decent injury assessment, rather than the "2-3 weeks" that seems to go on for months, (like Kruezer).
