Still don't see or more importantly don't think JK is that good. He drops too many marks for my likeing, is slow and has a turning circle of truck. Does work hard though but ....

If memory serves they came to us with the names of Bower & Kennedy.

Can't recall exactly what we offered but there's a concise little thread here which should have the answer

Bower is our version of Gumbleton. Will he ever get back on the park ?

JK is just what we need right now, and what about missing Jack Darling

I think Jack Darling was definitely in the picture,
but I don't think you can deny Watson will fill a key need for us, with much less risk on his character than Darling.

You can't pick them all, despite some of the rabid posts on here lamenting how we missed Talia, Hurley, etc etc.

Enough of this. Reason Eagles look good is they select a forward line.

2 Talls, 2 Mediums, 2 small.

HF: Shuey (183) Kennedy (194) Nicoski (188)
F: LeCras (183) Lynch (192) Darling (191)

Plus Nic Nat and Cox pushing forward

Our forward line

HF: Robinson Waite Walker -- A good line, Robo plays rather defensive, needs to hit scoreboard more often
F: Carrazzo Hampson Garlett - Carrazo and Hampson have no business being in our forward line.

Henderson isn't fit yet and Houlihan is injured.

Plus Warnock and Kruezer (when he returns)

Funny but we have won more games. What we are missing is a bigger body, give Henderson some time to develop.

Visit Footywire.com and do your own comparisons between players at same age.

Player Statistics Comparison -- Kennedy played in team with Fev, Few opportunities. Very little in it. Henderson played back in Brisbane due to J Brown

Agree re Watson, he'll be a ripper ! But having secured a 10 year CHB/FB, why didn't we go for a gun explosive KP forward - even if he is something of a loose cannon (scared off by the Fev experience ?). Darling looks exceptional and is definitely not a 4 year "project" player like Hendo. FFS we already had a 7 year project player in Hammer :banghead:

Can you explain to me how we could've secured Darling last year?

Exactly; Darling was gone by our next pick. It was pick Watson, or pick Darling.

Damn you jimmae, I was waiting for the explanation especially as Lurker has already pointed it out over here;

Hmm.....another glass of red for me :yikes:

Having a choice between the two, I'd take Watson.

I’ve copped “gee, bet you wish you still had Kennedy” twice in 5 days. The Judd counter-argument was met with stunned silence both times.

Watson will be a rippa. 95+ kilos all ready and looks like he hasn't had a shave yet.

He just needs a bit of love and hate on the knuckles in jailhouse blue, and we have a 12 year centre half back.

Watson reminds me of Pappagallo from Mad Max 2.
