I'd say that's the thinking. Tuohy for Yarran if he doesn't come up. Carrazzo will get a reprieve as we won't make 4 changes, and I'm not really sure he deserved the drop after showing a tendency to work on his role the last two games.

What has Armfield done wrong?

I would think the MC prefer someone who is a better kick than Armfield. Tuohy also has the pace and seems able to balance defence/attack.

Armfield should still make the team for Betts IMO, but the MC appear to be protecting Eddie at the moment.

as for Tuohy, congrats and everything, love the kid, but will be gobsmacked if he gets in before Army and Brock
betts in no danger of losing spot, watched the game again today and was very impressed by his offensive pressure, in fact that goes for the whole fwd line, sure makes a difference from the days of Lance, Fev and Hooligan standing around watching while defenders ran the ball out of defence......
this is a huge improvement in our team, next up - kicking straight.

Carrots and Bettsy both had great games against the Croweaters. Good to see them hit back. Skills and pressure were good. Ellard was a great inclusion.

Bower seems like he's a broke down mule and is frustrating everyone. Another 1-2 (maybe 6) weeks with a quad..

Can't wait til Kreuze gets back cos Hampson confirmed he is a spud on the weekend. I'm not even sure what he thought he was doing on the ground...

Gibbs should be a game from getting dropped. Hopefully hits back by shutting down Goodesy tomorrow night.

With Yazz prob out I'd make two changes:

From all accounts Tuohy is shaping up nicely and with Army seeming to be in the bad books and Ellard, Curnow, Robbo etc keeping Brock out (thankfully), give Touhy Yazz's job this week...
