It must be incredibly frustrating to have that in front of you as a player.
I would imagine so, but I don't think any of us would blame him for that on review. There's plenty more errors to be found. He will bottle the ball up without good reason because he demands the football, then doesn't back his disposal to make an impact.
Not a comment on Carrots as such (or a defence of his disposal

), but more how broken our system was on Saturday. Firstly that we consistently allowed them those 1-2 spares to drop back. During the second quarter when we had it in our half most of the time I was constantly looking back to the middle and our guys were manned up.
Secondly, that the one player we DO leave back is Betts, when we had Hampson, Waite and Lachie on the field. How on Earth do we allow Betts to be the one on three? It was an absolute disaster - there's no way known we should be having three tall forwards on the ground being sucked in to the contest when Betts is left to go one on three. One of them had to have the brains to stay back - if they were on coaches orders to get dragged into a stoppage in the backline then Ratten SHOULD get sacked now.
This is what concerns me - I really don't think we help ourselves at all, and it's part coaching and part players.
CORRECTION: It was Jeffy, not Eddie who stayed back.
