Collins - you can take the boy out of Richmond but you cant take Richmond out of the boy... P*ss off back to Punt Road you dud!! 2 weeks ina row of nothing but inept efforts by this guy I'd prefer Chris Johnson or even Troy Longmuir to this guy. A more error riddled forst two games I've never seen by a Carlton player, and that includes all the duds were had play for us during the Dark Years..

So Simmos first two games rate higher than Collins ?? :smoking:
Interesting :thanks:

I would rather Collins have not touched the ball like Simmo didn't in his first two games, surely we would have won? :thanks:

Not a bad effort by the Bombers. Given that no-one picked Essendon* to win this week it was a pretty good effort for them to draw.

I was a bit surprised by them as I really didn't know much about their team.

Hopefully the media will start to recognise this and we can get a few articles on Essendon* in the paper this week and learn more about them.

Hey I thought I was the only one....damn!!!

The players fumbled alot and missed a lot of important tackles. They also took a while to start winning contested posession. Once we did start doing that we got into the game and outplayed the bombers. Massive changes were not made to make us play better. Just a rev up at quarter time.

Ratts and the MC are guilty of picking players they hoped would give them 100 mins of switched on hard football. Some let them down.

Take nothing away from Essendon*. They have a good list of players picked up in the same drafts as us plus more and have a 2 time premiership coach coaching them along with Hird. 2 blokes down brought out the best in them. We did well but not enough.

Plenty to work on.

when you're being outcoached bya guy who is only 4 games into his reign, then you know you re in trouble. Thers no way a side coached by Malthouse or Roos would ve put up a soft effort like that...

Ratts chinned Malthouse when Ratts was coaching his 10 game. Collingwood drew with melb last season. Roos coached plenty of soft Swans games last year on the MCG. Thompson coached geelong to 3 grand finals in a row.

I think a clear indication of this is that during the week everyone was singing the praises of the dons and hardly anyone Picked us to win now the game is over you would be hard pressed to find anyone from the dons not happy with the result and virtually no one at Carlton happy with the result

They mentioned during the broadcast that they had 11 top 10 draft picks playing today we had 6

I didn't see the game, but it seems people are angered that we should have won and didn't.

Can I ask one thing of the [people who have seen it..

If we played the Bummers again next week do you think we'd win?

Nope - they'd have 22 fit players and we'd still have Ratten coaching.

If we played the same way we did today they'd win. You can't carry that many players who have little to no impact on the game.

Considering they were two down for the majority AND were coming off a six day break compared to our eight break I'd say no not a chance.
