That was a disgrace.

I wish I could find a way to hold my head up about it like you are Verbs... but to me, that was fair dinkum disgraceful. It is hard to know where to start.

The main thing I will say is this. Every single offseason, it sounds to me like we spend the majority of our time trying to implement a gameplan which resembles that of the reigning Premiers. But have we figured out yet that the gameplan requires changes in order to win the flag the following year? You saw what happened today against a side whose coach obviously sat down and worked out an innovative way to overcome the forward press. We were left playing catch up all day because we were trying to play 2010 football against a side playing 2011 football. We have to get innovative. The current coach has had a fair chance to do that now, and he hasn't managed it.

Anyway, I thought that was a completely undeserved two points for us. Essendon* were brave to go as they did without two players - yeah the media will harp on about it, and so they should. We've only got ourselves to blame for being so insipid that the media can spin the story.

We're committed to Hendo as a KPP and we must have the courage to persist with him I reckon.

That was the dumbest display of football by our group I've seen in quite a while...

So many dumb decision making, kicking to 3 on 1 when shorter options were preferred, kicking to Dustbin Felcher and making him look good.

...but the two dumbest actions of the day were reserved for the last five minutes. Garlett playing on in front of goals and getting caught and playing tempo football and @#$%&! it up.

DUMB DUMB DUMB :banghead:

Bagging our players.

Hypocrite.

Thornton isn't a patch on Jamison who starred today.

You should stick to knifing coaches like Richmond supporters.

Still played better than Fevola did this week.

Johnny Barker - top forward line coach! Came to us with such glowing endorsements too!

I reckon Barker would still have done better than Henderson and Hammer out there today. They were embarrassing, especially Henderson who is a lazy footballer.

Don't be ridiculous. Hendo had a shocker, and looked very underdone, but in no way is he a "lazy footballer". Quite the opposite.

Would not be surprised considering Waite was right in front of our bench......where Ratts was watching.

You and Kouta (Blue ice) plan that comeback on your secret forum?

Not that anyone will listen but if we'd won by a point we'd probably still be having this exact same discussion, only it would have been "We should have won by more".

I thought Waite was fantastic playing a lone hand up forward, got us back in the game.

Got out of jail today guys. Got 2 points. Could have had none. If that is a positive. If a draw is one of our worst performances, I will buy that result in a heart beat. I was so worried we would be slammed today. Guess I got it wrong.

Were you reading here this week? We were going to get spanked by Essendon*. Spanked.

Nobody in the media tipped us.

Perhaps you were all right and then two Essendon* players go down and we draw.

Fickle Flower Freaks.

So.... people express an opinion on this site in the leadup to a big game and based on that we should satisfied at throwing two points away?

ok..........

my mistake. For a second there I thought we should be angry or satisified at how our team plays.

That draw was a DISGRACE.

The only reason Ratten is playing Andrew Collins is because we lost a good player for him.

I'm willing to give Henderson some more time, as we can see what he can do.

But Hampson is GONE when Kreuzer comes back.

Betts is a shocker as well.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE DO AN ANALYSIS ON THIS:
Average Stats BEFORE contract signing/ Average Stats AFTER contract signing.

I think you'll see significant falls from Betts and Jordan Russel.
Betts will be the reason we lose Murphy this year. If Betts is on a $400k+ then Murphy will want a mil!

How could we get Eddie Betts so wrong.

Betts, in 9 of 13 games post signing his $1M contract has kicked 1 or none goals

Time to do a Del Santo and drop his lazy ass

IN A NUTSHELL

gibbs is overrated, stars against poor teams but lacks intensity against top teams
