Just got off the train in kalgoorlie, got reception and live scores - with 1:20 left in the game. And then we draw. I take it from these comments that we should have won. Probably lucky I couldn't get reception in the train or my new iPhone would have been decorating the tracks somewhere near Coolgardie.

Son of a $&);$@!!!

Was pleased with Duigan and Murph

If Carrots gets another run past handpass I'll @#$%&! barrack for Collingwood!

I think Hampson at ff is a wondeful idea and then 4 weeks in maybe we can accept theories and facts are 2 different things!

I just wish players would get dropped - @#$%&! 20 of them if that changes things but really, drop them!

How many times were we just plain stupid?

Thanks JR for stepping over the line.

Only cost us a victory.

He gives up 3 -4 goals and you think stepping over the line cost us-

Stepping over the line is probably the most inexcusable act on the field.

If Simmo is feeling bad about his OOBOTF, someone should remind him quick smart of the blunder which is JR.

People have often asked whether there is a difference between courage and stupidity...

Today answers that question.

They scored a point but really I think Russell did some great things.

Its just setting up with Hampson means they have a defender running free most of the afternoon. Hampson does not hurt them enough for them to man him up.

But its little things like stopping, thinking, waiting until they have every player covered and then kicking

Its like not looking and kicking blindly

and mostly its missing targets.

Pleased with White today - persist

Hendo will get better

No longer certain Tex is an asset - that leap he did in the last when he should have stayed down! Things just don't seem to be changing though his pass to Warnock was a wonderful example of what he can do when he thinks it through.

Waite was good today but he will always drive me mad with some of his decisions, actions.

Curnow is a get - Collins might not be - his handpass was just woeful today.

Duigan really impressed me and I understand why they went for him

Laidler - no - Bower please.

I really am sick of Carrots. He'll hit a target beautifully and them miss the next 3.

Gibbs was excellent in the first half and then slowly drifted out - anyone know why?

Thought Betts might just have signed up for a red jumper.

Him and Hampson hurt us with their vague impact on the game of football.

I think the thing I miss most about watching this particular Carlton team is the lack of really "smart" players.

Great Carlton teams have always had a number of really smart players. Diesel, Doull, Nicholls, etc.

Guys who could control the game around them and rarely made errors.

Judd's a great player but he makes a lot of unforced kicking errors. Not wanting to single him out from this mob but he's the closest we've got to a smart footballer.

Murphy may be "smarter" when he reaches his peak.

felt for Judd today - hammered by 2 each and every time

interesting same applied to murph

and for Keogh - it appeared the same was not served up to Gibbs

Murph was great today

Judd was a champion given what they were doing

but @#$%&! me we are a dumb side.

I reckon one of our smartest is the bloke who did one of the dumbest things today.

Jeffy simply confirmed that we all make mistakes.

How unlcuky are we to have so many dumb footballers...what are the odds?

yep but

they had 2 down

why were we in that position?

I think without those injuries they would have hammered us - but we will never know.

Lol. We were gonna get spanked I read on here. Yup.

If anyone thinks a specific moment in time cost us winning is delusional.

Easily our worse game of the year. We made error after error. To let them get out to a 4 goal lead in the second was just plain wrong. Good passages of play completely undone by stupid footy.

We have a week to reset and we need to.
