haha you made something up and then banged your head about it.

You need to relax a bit Ryan.

That is a good team picked with room for change over the next 2 days if needed.

Can’t believe White is for Watson. Bizarre. Still no Bower – is he named in the VFL? I thought he played well last weekend?

Agree, but Thornton could have been retained and a midfielder could have been added to the mix, and a speedy defender for Duigan who will get rings run around him.

I'm not saying we need to man them up like for like, it's just that Duigan and White haven't given the team much this season.

What exactly does White provide the team that Watson doesn't, except worse disposal/penetration out of the backline and less physical presence?

White will get KILLED by Hurley. KILLED. At least with Watson and Jamo they've both got the size to stand next to Ryder/resting ruckman. Forget that scenario with White. So basically we've locked ourselves into Jamo playing on Ryder, no matter what happens with the other match-ups

White should be in a glass case with "Break open in times of emergency" painted across the front. This doesn't qualify.

Stupefying decision.

My concern is Duigans performance last week, he looked a little like Army did in his first two season, plenty to work with but a bit clumsy. White? I don't know, I realise match-ups are all important, but so are guy's who stand up when it gets hot like Ellard and Army.

Our backline looks as brittle as last week.

Perhaps you could shed some light then on what match ups White would have been picked for? And the flexibiity that having him in the team provides? Because I am confused and angry right now.

Maybe you could pacify me

maybe we see one of their smaller forwards as a marking type and White is better suited to that job .....that's my guess.
White seems to be a bit quicker than both Thornton and Watson.

I would have liked Ellard or Armfield to get a run.

It wasn't that long ago White was the golden child, now look at him!

Agree that I would have preferred Watson though.

Hardly a game breaking call though. The game will not be won or lost on this, so it is time for some perspective.

Where did the Thorton love fest come from???

Watson needs to develop - he won't do that by playing in the ones every week.
Now that he's had a taste of it let him work on the areas that he needs to in the bullants. Build up his confidence and his experience playing against men

Hendo needs to play at FF with number 19 at his feet all day.

If anyone plays back it will be Waite.

Good to see Davey dropped - I think he pants us the last few times we played them.

I would be shocked if White was quicker than Thornton. And as bad as Thornton is in contests these days, White is worse.

Bombers look too tall for a windy damp day. We will run off them all day. Whites long accurate kicking will be handy. Id love to see him forward for a stint.

If we win contested ball we will be right. Get it forward and lock it in. FOrce the turnover and score. We are no1 in the league for goals scored from turnovers. That skill will get us over the line providing we win the contested ball.

Plenty to come into the side over the next month. Future looks bright.

totally agree
i think duigans been average at best, and i dont know what warranted whites recall
id feel a tad uneasy having duigan and white making up 1/3 of our defense
the only reasoning i could fathom is that the MC is taking the weather into account,??
big chance it will be wet, and the scum won well in the wet last week

..........and no Reimers, which will be bad if we win, coz I hate him like no other, apart from Morefrees and Fletcher and Hille and........... you get the picture.

Ellard had the highest tackle count (9) the last time we played Essendon* and was reported to play well last week for the Bullants.

very unlucky.
