If it's true that Bower is out, then Watson, Jamison (and White if we need a 3rd tall down there) will play back. The question remains whether Thornton will play, I suspect yes, forward. Certainly gives us some flexibility to use Waite whereever.

Laidler is the 3rd tall in our setup, and he's doing a bloody good job of it.

Stealing some fine TC material there.

Congrats to you Dave, worthy of inclusion on the Pies' site.

Is anyone with me that DENIS ARMFIELD needs to start on the ground or on the bench, but NOT in the substitute bib?

Unless he's having a lumbar puncture he's probably getting dry needling done.

Me too, but the use of the sub is a work in progress. His running power when everyone else is rooted could be decisive in a close one.

Moved forward in SA, now a 30 minute delay. Live into the ACT, QLD & NSW on 7 mate everywhere but the Sydney & Brisbane metro areas (where it's live on Main Event).

That's not bad by 7, really, using the HD channel to show prime time viewing rather than a pissy movie or an ancient TV show that doesn't even warrant HD resolution. IMO, every station except SBS is wasting their HD channel at present.

A bit of ticketing talk, today I found out I may be able to go to the game on Friday night due to a previous plans falling through. Would I be right to scan my AFL membership at the gate for standing room??

Does Henderson come in? You would think he would have to take Thornton's spot but does he deserved to be dropped after a great game the other night? It was against lesser opposition so I would like to see the change.

Out- White, Thornton

In- Jamo, Henderson

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Collins in the team as well.

Carrots to take Swan just like he did with Ablett last week. Stay close with him so he doesn't get those cheap backward handballs.

Hi guys,

As I do every year, I preview all Collingwood games. This year, the collingwood footy club are using my articles on the website. I am not getting any financial remuneration for them, but its a buzz seeing my name up on the site.

Here is the link to this weeks article. I think you'll agree that I've put a fair bit of work into it and its unbiased.

That was a good balanced read, Well done.

I am a AFL member and my mate called me yesterday to say that all seats had sold out in the AFL members reserve and that only limited standing room tickets were available. I would be getting to the G early on Friday night if i was you to guarantee yourself entry to the ground.
