Don't be surprised if Ellard plays, one of the utilities/midfielders is a bit sore and is 50/50 at best!

ull of kids and putting them up to a seasoned 'Salary Cap Cheating' AFL club so early.

Reasons the GC should be concerned:

- 11 kids debuting and a NRL player.
- Senior players without a pre-season in Ablett, Brennan, Bock. Young gun Smith underdone also.
- List cloggers in Krakeour, Stanley and Harris.
- Seriously undermanned defence
- Seriously undermanned forward line
- Two unaccountable back flankers to play on Betts/Garlett
- Chris Judd's 200th game

They have the makings of a good team and will therefore be competitive in patches throughout the season. But really it's hard to see where the goals are going to come from. Arguably they needed Pavlich more than Ablett.

Good luck to young Matt Watson too btw. Perfect game to give him a taste of AFL footy and show us what he's got

Going glass half full on Lucas being dropped, I think he needs four quarters of footy, not half a game, not in the best interests of his development at this stage, when he's clearly dropped down the pecking order in the past few weeks.

How the selection committee is going to deal with bringing back Jamo, Bower AND Hendo all in one go against Collingwood should prove a headache (White and Thornton seem fairly self explanatory, but geez, bringing Watson in for one game seems a bit rough and bordering on counterproductive, horses-for-courses approach to the GC forward line aside)

Wonder if we'd be brave enough to go in with one ruckman for the Pies game, and drop Hampson, as to allow the extra runner against Collingwood's much vaunted midfield rotations?

Suicide.
Having 2 decent ruckmen is actually a huge plus for us, and an advantage we should try to exploit.

Is Hampson offering that much, both as a ruckman and a relief forward to completely dismiss the idea of replacing him with an extra midfield rotation, or with a permanent forward in Hendo, that couldn't do too much worse pinch-hitting in the ruck to give Warnock a chopout, though?

Most teams I'd be firmly in the traditional mindset of having the 2 rucks being a must, but, if we get the Pies on a wet night, countering their midfield strength would have to be a look-in.

Anyhow...one game at a time...

What and chuck TBird in the ruck again if one goes down? :)

Het Blue Rob, you haven't got anything to worry about having Bower missing.
You must be really happy.
You've got your star players in KPD roles: TBird and White vs 205cm and 200 cm athletic players.
Good onya.

No bower,equals carlton win

Got me.

Thornton a very lucky man. I think he might spend time up forward or even the sub. Lucky its only the Suns.

Hurry back quick Bower and Jamo.

Thornton was asked to do a job he was incapable of doing. Can't blame the guy for that, just like we can't blame Simon White.

Thornton plays better on the taller/slower forward. He cannot play on the mobile quicker forward.
There will be no excuses this week for T-Bird.

Danger game for us. While we should win this easily, the Coasters will come ready to play and that makes them dangerous. Do not have a problem with selection, while Thornton got cut up by Riewolt he was good at critical points last week.

60 pt win to us.

Oh yeah Yarran will have a blinder
