Hey tc, I'm proud to say me and my dad are first time members this year :)

I've got a few quick questions and hope you guys could answer them. I bought the memberships online through the Carlton website.
By the way, I purchased them on Friday night, so that's why I'd like to get some answers sooner rather than later.

1. It's correct that all Carlton members get a personalised membership card? But since I purchased both mine and my dad's memberships under my name how they know whose name to put where and also what my dad's name is?

2. As a first time member I'm not exactly sure how the ticketing system works. We both purchased 11 game memberships. How do we go about getting our tickets? Am I correct in assuming we go through this website: https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/home. ... am=carlton and go to 'print your product? At the moment it says 'No events to manage.' when I click on 'Print'. Will the tickets become available when the game becomes closer?

Thanks.

I'll have a stab at answering some of this for you, but I am sure what I ahvent answered correctly will be done by someone else;

1. Yes, you will have your name on your card, in relation to your dad's this may also include your name if you didnt specify his when purchasing your membership. You can always contact the club to have your dad's name entered as the correct name for his membership

2. Your plastic membership ticket will have a barcode which you have scanned as you go through the turnstiles (well thats how mine works anyway).

Cheers and well done on joining up

I'd say Sheldon is spot on with this. Call the club Monday on 1300 227 586.

And congrats!

Thanks for the answer guys. I rang up the membership this morning around 10am. Was only hold for around 5 minutes, but got to listen to a whole lot of Carlton information with the Blue's theme song playing in the background.

I managed to add my Dad's name to his membership card, and the woman said our cards would be sent in the mail tomorrow, and so hopefully we'll receive them by Thursday. Otherwise, we can go to Gate 3, and explain about the membership card delay and we'll be fine.

I doubt you'll ever make a more sound purchase.

Money very, very well spent getting a club membership.

Most likley it wont be ready in such a short turnaround - i had to do the same thing a few years ago when I started getting reserved seating for away games. It took until Rd 3 for me to get the cards, hopefully yours will be sooner

Go Blues

The lady I spoke to on the phone made it sound as if I would receive the memberships by game day. :(
But this morning I received an email from Carlton Membership that it would arrive within 10-14 working days.
I guess I'll be going to the membership outlets and they'll give us tickets?

Also, I wanted to ask if me and my dad turn up around 6-6.30 or so for general admission should we be fine in getting in?

I would think attendance would be around the 65-70k mark.

I wouldn't get there any later than 6.15 for walkup unless you're particularly keen on the nosebleeds right up the top of the Southern..

Just noticed on my membership card it says "2-4 years member, Off the Bench"
When it should be 1st year member, Draftee"

But my dad's one says 1 year member haha

Sorry to hijack this thread but didnt think it was worth creating another thread for another quick membership question. this year for the first time i got a gold membership and was told by the club that around this time i should go on the carlton website and join the waiting list for level 2 tickets next year or beyond however i cant seem to find the link to this. if anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated :)

i'm trying to upgrade my 11 game general admission to reserved for this friday's game.
but when i put in my membership barcode on the ticketek website it says not vaild.
if anyone else is upgrading like me, can i just confirm it's the 12 digit number underneath the barcode on the membership card?

Are you doing just your membership or more than one, because I previously had issues when I was putting in two memberships.

It's not our home game is it? That's probably the source of your error on the Ticketek site.

Just buy a normal ticket as if you didn't have a membership
