A young Aboringinal girl is staying with relations Dardew as it is too far to go back home to WA for the long weekend She doesn't know much about Football and doesn't really support anyone so needless to say we took her to the footy on Saturday at PP .
On the way there was telling her about our favourites Yazza and Jeffy .
We got the membership hats on the way in of course mine was donated to the young lass and she wore it proudly
It was meant to be that Jeffy about 2 mins in kicked the first goal .
When yazza got the ball baulked and then kicked a beauty on the left we knew we had another Carlton supporter
We were near the interchange bench and she loved it when we were cheering and yelling when Jeffy and Yazza were coming off
Go the Brothers Go Blues

Great work in converting another to follow the faithful - actually the first goal was kicked 15 seconds into the first quarter!!!!

Great stuff

On a sidenote, is the Club making the Brothers more accessolble to Indigenous organisations around Melbourne ?
Carlton would easily gain greater support from the Indigenous community if Eddie, Yazz and Jeffy are seen working with the kids or generally giving back to their community. Get them out do do some voluntary work at places like the Koorie Open Door Education School in Glenroy (which is a 10-15 minute drive from Visy Park).

They are popular here in Perth. Eddies got more rellie's than Lionel Rose.

I was thinking the same thing. Imagine guys like Jeff and Yazz spending time with kids in their old neghbourhoods. Would be both a highlight for the kids there as well as great PR for us.

And Eddie spent some years in Glenroy as a teenager, so it'd be great for him to go back o the Koorie school there.
