I don't see how the addition of Ryan Gamble has improved StKilda's list - I don't mind the trade, but I would've thought they should have done a whole lot more. They're going into the season with the same set up essentially, and expecting a different result. That rarely works in my view.

Conveniently overlooks the Jolly trade to Collingwood. Basically handed them a premiership winning ruckman for a late first round draft pick which was the currency they refused to accept for O'Keefe only a year earlier.

Still can't believe how the Pies ended up with Jolly for a first round draft pick, Ball for nothing and Tarrant for a pick in the 50s ... all from teams supposedly contending by finishing in the final 8 in 2010. Dumb strategy all round.

yep, spot on how anyone could trade with a fellow contender makes little sense, particularly when it was such fun watching wood and fraser make the ruck job look like quantum physics.

Roos for an "expert" really does miss the mark in this article.........maybe his wife wrote cos he was busy.
