Not being able to watch it, but based on the tweets I saw, I would say I am not overly enthusiastic - we should have smashed them, but the score said they stayed in the game so seems we still are not making the most of opportunities, in this case Adelaide's injuries. Perhaps we thought we were the ants pants after playing the GWS kids.

I think you may be a little bit hard, Gibbs coasted thru the game, Murph went off at half time and a lot of the lesser lights got a really good hit-out. The Crows are a well coached side who is structured really well and know how to lock games down. I was resonably happy with what I saw, always room for improvement and hopefully that will come by season proper.

Why should we have smashed them?

Why, Adelaide just about had their best team in ? They are one of our Bogey sides, last year we should have smashed them. This year we just did enough, and we did not exactly play well.

If only those rumours last year were true about Taylor Walker wanting to come to VIC. He'd be mighty handy in navy blue :(

Lots of posters have said Gibbs was quiet etc. Well he has been quiet all pr-season. Yesterday he seemed to have been instructed to play outside the packs, on the defensive side - very negative tactic hence hardly got into the action. Suspect club are not wanting to show all their cards re midfield, and expect to see Gibbs and Brock in the thick of it come Round 1.

Gibbs definitely looks to be coasting but I remember thinking the same thing last pre-season. He fired up once the real stuff started. Hope that's the case again this year.

Taylor Walker would surely be a handy player, but I think a bit dirty.

He tries to outbody his opponent by quickly using his body to push his opponent in the back. Did this a number of times and umpires let it go. Sneakily using his hands as well.

Was always constantly pushing his opponent in the back off the ball as well.

Up close, very dirty.
